Target has the Kindle eReader for $79.99 in their ad this week, listed with a $10 gift card which makes it $69.99. Today i got a text that says TARGET: Free $10 giftcard when u spend $75 in store Fri 5pm-Sat noon only. See store for restrictions. I haven't seen anything on the restrictions. We are going to buy the Kindle eReader and hope to to get gift cards back, one for the Sunday weekly ad and one for the Friday only sale. Wich us luck.

So I tried it out. Target counted the eReader as $69.99 due to the first gift card that comes with purchase. I had to add an item worth $6.01 in order to get back the second gift card. My husband wanted 3:10 to Yuma bluray and it was on sale for $7.00. I was going to buy it anyway.
Which kindle was it? The 79 kindle is the basic model. It does not have text to speech or play music since it has no speakers. It also has half the battery life and half the space. It is worth it to pay a little more and get the kindle keyboard or the kindle touch in my opinion. They are calling the basic kindle, the baby kindle.
