Sort of. A couple of years ago, I needed a copy of a receipt that I'd lost. They gave me a copy of the transaction journal tape. It may not work for a rebate, however it should for returns. HTH

well i ended up finding it today, so that is a relief. dh called walmart and they said that they could have reprinted it if it had been within 14 days of the purchases if you used a credit or debit card. you also needed to know that amt and the date.

I too have trouble finding receipts, but Walmart now has much stricter policies. I have been refused several times without receipts. They also have a 3 total. You can only return 3 items in 1 year with no receipt and all stores know. I have 4 stores in different directions and each one knows your total returns. Some things require receipts like some electronics.

I just did this yesterday! returned a BF printer that had the price and date on the box tag and everything! cashier needed to know which register, card number, and amount, but yes ALL receipts can be looked up with this information
