San Antonio,TX hotel near Seaworld?

I know it is on the outskirts of San Antonio but can anyone recommend a good hotel NEAR Sea World (that is the only thing we will be doing in SA)

We stayed at Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort last time and although I LOVED it I hate to pay that for some place we are just going to SLEEP at..It is going to be a rush trip 2days MAYBE 3 days MAX. We will spend 99% of our awake time at Sea World.....Any suggestions?

We stayed at a La Quinta Inn when we went 2 years ago. It was okay, but I've stayed in lots nicer ones. The reason I chose it was because I found a coupon code online and got the room for 50.00 a night.

You will love Sea World, my kids had a blast! Have fun!!!

We stayed at... Best Western Country Inn and suites...or try... www.sanantoniovisit.com.... it was $85 a night and we had two queen beds and a couch fold out area with its own tv... full breakfast.. and snacks and soda in the afternoon... very nice and CLEAN!!!.. there were several great restaurants close too. The ZIO's that was right there had free kids meals on certian nights... as did the Bennigans... We loved the Mexican Gringos Kitchen.

I also bought my Sea World tickets online.. and printed them at home... saved tons of time.. you just went to the turnstyle and went in...highly recommend renting a stroller... was well worth it.

So these are CLOSE to SeaWorld. I am finding everything says close to sixflags or hosipital or airport..How come they don't say close to SeaWorld? GRRR

I am from a small town and don't have much patience traveling long distances to get places lol...Sadly I passed that along to my 3 kids!

Off to check those out...Anyone know anything about Hyatt place?

The problem is... Sea World isnt really close to many hotels that anyone would even consider staying at. Most of San Antonio can be easily gotten too on an expressway. I think our hotel was 6-7 miles from Sea World.

The other good thing about where we stayed was... Sonic and Walmart were right next door...

We stayed at a La Quinta, it was about 8-10 minutes away I think. Sea World is so much fun, I would love to go back to San Antonio just to go there! Have fun!
