My child has allergies and have been reading about how to clean "green". they suggest using essential oils because they are just as effective. so i am looking where to buy them and for a reasonable price.

If there is a health store nearby, they might have some. If not, you can ask them where to buy them. I get mine from our local grocery store, but I am in Canada. I'm sure someone sells them online, you'd just have to do a google.
Some oils can be expensive, and I can't see using JUST the oil to clean.... I would think they should be dilluted. JMHO.

Good luck! The oils have lots of other uses too. I use a lavender and peppermint oil mix for my migraines and they help out a whole bunch!

GNC or just google essential oils and it brings you to lots of websites.

I thought Simple Green was all natural etc. My Mom always cleaned with white vinegar
and rubbing alcohol (not mixed together) and my house growing up was always immaculate.
God Bless her, if she could see this place she would not be impressed:no: No vermin or
anything, basically clean just too much crap/clutter. Its all those damned sales you people
tempt me to

Be careful using oils...some can actually strip off paint and ruin wood tables and floors.
I know from experience. I am also a "Green cleaner" and I use vinegar and water faithfully. With kids and pets crawling around on the floor, I don't like to use anything any more harsh than that. I do, however, use bleach on the bathroom toilets and sinks (I like the whole clean smelling thing!). :D

my sister swears by essential oils for everything, she uses them daily for cuts, pain, everything and never goes to a doctor. i've never heard her say she used them for cleaning though, there may be info on the website she uses. younglivingoils.com
