Please help me find a PINK leapster!

I'm trying to locate a pink leapster for my daughter. It seems to be out of stock everywhere, and TRU said they might be discontinuing it :eyepoppin I don't want/need the L-Max (I have found that, but it's too much system). We're going on a plane trip next week and i'd love to get one before that...anyone have any ideas where to go? TIA

The amazon one .. geesh .. now $99 .. but if you look under new and used from ... there is a sell with a great feedback with one for $56 + $5 s/h ...

I just checked all the Targets in my area...they all showed the system in stock...but then when I called none of the stores actually had the units! Sounds like the Target stock system is not so accurate...however everyone I spoke with was really nice :)

Did you try Walmart, they don't have any online but do in some stores, you can check on their web site or call your local store.

yeah, i called all the local walmarts...none. Also tried Kmart and Circuit City...

Leapfrog.com has them in stock and free standard shipping if you buy a game and system but you wouldn't get the system in time if you use standard shipping. Their regular shipping prices and time frame of deliveries is on their site if you want to check it out. Hope this helps.

Don't bet your butt on CALLING Walmart I have PERSONALLY been at customer service and SEEN a lady putting someone on hold and then coming back on to say "No we don't have any at this time but we get trucks every week!" I was appalled...Notice she added they get trucks everyday in case the person came in and saw one! I have NO IDEA what they were asking for but she never tried to find out!!

DD had a pink one and it broke so we got a red Target one. She didnt care...she even uses her brothers green one or the old blue one too..

Does it HAVE to be pink?

Try CALLING leapfrog I have had wonderful experiences with their Customer service PLUS they could tell you if it has been discountinued too

Amazon's is almost $100 now...and Kohls only has the LMax...in blue or green for $99 b1g1 1/2 off. Yeah, it has to be pink...everything has to be pink with her :rolleyes: I'm looking at some on ebay...but i'd really prefer a brick/mortar so i'm sure to have it soon. I even just looked at Best buy (none in stock until MD).

Ok, couldn't find one ANYWHERE apparently because all the stores are not accepting shipments until after their inventory! :eek: So I just won one on Ebay for $61 total (including priority 2-3 day shipping). :runaway::gdnum1::2woot: I'll keep looking until I actually receive it though.
