I think I am the first person who ever called that store (Mason City, IA) and asked. They acted quite surprised and confused by my question about what their toys were marked down to. LOL :p

Ohhh.. It said Forrest Hill and we have a Forrest Hill store in Memphis.

I should learn to read. Sorry.
Just got back from the Germantown Forrest-Hill Irene store - NOTHING - well no some of the Cool Toys were 50% but not the other stuff -
I did get the last 2 pairs of Dora xmas pajamas sets - no price found - and got them for $1.99 each.

I read this saying one time about Target clearance, ends in 8 wait, ends in 4 buy more. Basically I guess the idea is it will go down atleast one more time if it ends in an 8, but ending in 4 is usually the lowest target will mark it. That's what I have read and I tend to agree since seeing if this is true. If this is true then it looks like the 75% off desks might go lower because they are at 9.98, so just a thought.

Okay so I have a question. What exactly do you say when you call your local Targets asking about the toy clearance? Do you ask for the toy department or just ask the whoever answers? I just want to make sure to get the most accurate information as the Target I am considering going to next is 1 1/2 hours away. Thanks in advance!!

The very best way to do it is to take down the DCPI number of something that you KNOW the price of and when you call CS, give them that number and ask them to tell you the price. That way, you will know whether it is 75 or not. That's the only way I trust what CS is saying about markdowns.

Ok, what day of the week will they mark down the big baby items? Our stores have had them 30 off for a few weeks now! I want AT LEAST 50 off! I don't see that on the main page?? Do they usually do it with the kids clothing????

Nothing in KC so far. One of the stores was just marking the Hello Kitty toasters, clocks, etc. in domestics... isn't that an area scheduled for Tuesday markdowns? It appears as though most stores around here are a day behind on their markdowns perhaps.

Went to Middletown Ohio store. They have tons of toys, but still at 30% off. I'm truly bummed:(. I leave for vacation on Thursday and won't be back until next Thursday so I'll miss the whole thing!!! I did find that they had a lot of Hello Kitty kitchen stuff clearanced down 75%. I was able to get a toaster oven for $5.00. I'm not sure what my DH will think of a pink kitty toaster oven in the kitchen, but for $5.00 he'll just have to cope!

I just talked to someone from the Target at Old Spanish Trail and Harrison. He said they just stocked 9 (!!!) :eyepoppin:eyepoppin:eyepoppin pallets of clearance toys. He said that the highest discount right now is 50% off on some. I said I know that some stores around the country are already at 75% off (didn't tell him HOW I knew this) on their toys and asked if he thought they would go to that price. He said he didn't think anytime soon considering what they had just put out. Of course, we know this is subject to change.

Then I called the Tanque Verde and Grant store. They transferred me to someone in toys who never picked up. Generally TV/Grant marks down items before OST/Harrison. I may have to make a trip later on today. From what I remember from 2 summers ago, toys went 75% off on a Thursday AM. Actually, they probably went 75% off on Wednesday and retagged overnight and placed back on the shelves on Thursday. I figure whatever I am meant to have, it'll be there for me. If it's not there, then I don't know any better and may save some money. That sounds good in theory anyway...lol

It sounds like they are cleaning out the backrooms getting ready for inventory and finding all kinds of treasures.

I was at the Olathe Super Target after driving this morning at about 9 am. The toys were all reshelved to the far east end of the toy dept and there were also some toys along the back wall behind those aisles. They were all still 30-50% off though. I didn't find any toys marked to 75% off. I stayed at the store until 10:30 and although there were a lot of employees with scanners nobody went into the toy dept while I was there. At that store I did find some toddler girls clothing for 75% off. I also found a salvaged christmas doodle toy which the cashier gave me for 25 cents.

I headed over to the Stanley Target next to check because I think they go a little sooner than others around here. Their blue box Kool Toyz are 75% off - I got my dd the wild animal play set for $2.50 and I got the Holiday Express train for $3.50. I also bought a Bob the Builder Easy Link key set for 75% off (1.98). I saw that this store had the Elmo set at 75% off also. Most of the toys were marked 50% off though. I scanned a couple of things here and there but everything I scanned was coming up as the same price as the tag.

I did find a few more items of clothing for my dd at 75% off. I also got a couple of 200 oz ALL detergents for 50% off - $3.98 each. I do love the 3x concentrated but for half price I decided I could lift the heavy bottle again :)

I just went to the Ward Parkway Target on my lunch break. I don't have kids but a lady here at work wanted me to check. The signs said 50% I didn't get a chance to scan because the mark down team were in there so I am guessing they were getting ready to mark them down.

Sorry in advance for what I think will be a long post...

Went to the 2 story Pasadena store and they had not started toy clearance. bummmer....so I go in search of my markdown team buddy to get the scoop. Well I saw a couple of her teammates that are new and they were doing market. So, I pull out my cheat sheet to see what else they mark at the same time, and I see housewares. I go and see there is only one wine cooler left and it still shows a $49.98 tag, so I memorize the DPCI and walk up to one of the new girls and rattle it off to her. The printer spits out a red sticker and she hands it to me. LOL! I have never had THAT happen before. So, I got that for 75% off! Whoopie! I finally found my buddy and she looks it up and says toys are tomorrow for Pasadena.

I drop DS off at preschool and decide to check out Duarte because they often take toys 75% before Pasadena and I don't want to miss it. So I was a block away when a Hot Wheels collector friend calls me and says they are marking down the toys here! I ask if he wants me to bring him a basket from the front. :cheesy: He does, so we both load up. I got Mr. Magoriums Legos, Lego City Fire Boat set, a large Playmobil pirate ship, some Erector sets, a National Geographic metal detector & microscope, some Breyer ponies stuff, and a ton of games for our school fundraiser (doing a family game night basket, I guess).

The employees who helped me out to the car (It was multiple baskets) told me that they had 9 pallets of clearance toys in the back, mostly big stuff that wouldn't fit on the sales floor! So, if you were looking for anything large, you might ask or keep checking back!

Tomorrow will be the Pasadena, Burbank & San Dimas stores - I called around and asked.

I got to Target at 8:15 and saw people w/2 carts FULL of toys! I walked very fast(LOL)to the toy section and, sure enough, there were at least 10 employees scanning and remarking toys. I loaded up my cart and had to wait around(that was okay because I went up and down those toys aisles at least 5x each and kept on finding more stuff)for them to finish remarking the toys. I scanned a few things and they weren't ringing up 75% off. I had one lady remark a few things, but decided to wait til they were done.

Just got back from the 38th street/west side store in Indy and they had a whole aisle of 75% off toys. One side had a sign for 50 off but all the toys were marked 75 off! The toys were in a wierd aisle though and not with the toys? I got the princess my size throne for 12.xx, several barbies (cheetah girls and barbie something) for 2.xx and 3.xx, got a LPS toy for 2.xx, and that was all I bought. They had cabbage patch kids, my little pony dancing pony thingy, and a baby my little pony toy, but didn't want any of that stuff. Wasn't really looking for anything specific. There was still several toys only marked 30 off and a few 50 but didn't have time to check them over by the actual toy section.........

I was there too. It was kind of an odd setup --- different in than in the past. One aisle of toys between bulk foods and global bazaar just for toys 75% off. There were more toys in the toy dept still at 30 or 50%. I checked a couple just to be sure. Lots of barbie, pony stuff. Nothing my kids could use. There was a Little tikes kitchen in that aisle for awhile. If that stuck around until today someone got a great deal! A lot of the toys that other posters are mention (the kool toyz, easylink, etc.) are still at 30 or 50 off. We do not need more toys though so I just check out of curiosity.

Lincoln, RI Target marked their toys down to 75% about 10 this morning. A friend called me and as soon as one of my daughters left for school I went out. I checked South Attleboro, MA first but their toys are still ringing up 30%! Went to Lincoln and got 2 carts full of toys for $300-10%off coupon and coupons from huggies wipes (which expire tomorrow). Awesome time, although I am hiding most of the bags in the car until my husband goes to bed tonight. I will sneak them in and put them in the cellar on the gift shelf.

has anyone on the list been to any of these SoCal stores to check on toys? I just want to be sure, and I am on the lookout for that Vtech camera! My friend & I both want them for our kids, and they both have spring birthdays! Are the toys 75% yet? at:

Alhambra
Eagle Rock
Glendale (if they even have any clearance)
Burbank
North Hollywood
San Dimas

Those are the stores that I can manage as far as driving. I need to go to Diamond Bar again either Friday or Monday, but I would like to try to look for a few specific toys there too.

Easton (Columbus, OH) went 75% on toys today. Didn't have too much and the aisles were pretty dead. Still had (as of 10:30a) cranium forts, Barbie my size throne, some Bratz, I can play guitars, and 1 piano. Plus other stuff I don't remember. Heads up, if someone goes, there is an additional isle of toys down by the end of the main back isle. (Across from the sporting goods).

Darn it! I forgot about Easton too. Oh well, odds are they won't have much left tomorrow anyway.

has anyone seen their local targets mark the dyson vaccum down to more than 30% off? thats all the ones here are marked down, to $339, i believe. I am hoping they would go to 50% off and i can grab one then, cuz they will probably go fast at 50%.

it is the yellow, all floors model.

Actually, I saw a Hello Kitty sewing machine at our Target that was on clearance, didn't check the price, but there were quite a few there and I didn't see anyone hopping over to get one. I'll check next time I'm there.

Yay for hubby! Pretty sure mine would've made me call...although he handled a confrontation tonight like a hero and I LOVED it! I hate being the bad guy.
Glad you at least got "something" from corporate. Waiting to hear what the manager says from that particular store....
And yes, I LOVE that smilie!! ;)

I saw about 3+ sewing machines on clearance ranging from $35 to $124 dollars.

Does anyone happen to have the DCPI off the Little Tikes work bench? That's one thing I'm really really really hoping to find for 75%! A couple stores I shop at have had several.

If this is the one I am thinking of, my target had 3 of them and while I was shopping people grabbed all 3 of them. I didnt want one, but it was like 24.xx? Maybe not. It looks almost like an easle but instead has tools on it? Hope you can get it for that price!

Thanks! I think I'll head over that way in the morning too. I think I'll probably hit Hillard first. Then Olentangy River Road, Sawmill, and Graceland. Then maybe west Broad if I have any room left in the van :) Let's hope for 75% tomorrow!!

I forgot about Polaris. I'm glad I've got a sitter for the day!! :)

LOL - you must have young kids to be going to that many. My ds is 13 and dd is going to be 9 next month, so we are pretty much out of toys. I am thinking about getting my dd the Digi Makeover. (Graceland has a lot) I think she will like to do makeovers on her brother. ;)

Just got back from Winter Park Target. Toys aren't 75%. But it was a great trip as I got the Rival Stainless Steel Roaster and a platter with silver stand for 75% off. And if anyone is looking for the Vino wine cooler, they had one for 75% off ($24.75). I missed the 90% Christmas, and they had nothing left. I also found the Cranium Pop game that came up Item Not Found in the toy clearance. They gave it to me for 75% off last price, $6.25. Is this what everyone else paid?

Did they have any of the roasters left?

Went back tonight (Michigan) toys still not 75% but several other people just checking them out like me. Did get the Kids art desk and the little recliners they had for kids went down finally to $17.xx. My big find was the wine cooler! I have been watching the 4 in our store at 49.50 for weeks. Tonight I thought I had missed out since they had been on a high shelf and when I looked they were gone! Went down the wine cooler aisle and there was one! I was so happy!
The worker that helped me said they had 5 more but I didn't see them anywhere. She was going to try and find one for her MIL on her break.

Unfortunately, at our store, they were still only 30% even though the other toys had been marked to 75%. Well, let me say that's what they were still marked. I didn't need one so I wasn't about to drag one of those big boxes to a scanner. It was bad enough that I had a double stroller and a cart full of toys. :tongue1:

There was one lady there that had three carts filled and couldn't push all of them so she left two of them sit while she was filling the third. She was filling her arms and dumping it in her cart. It was ridiculous, but the funny part was when she walked away from her cart to grab more stuff, other people thought it was a "mark down cart" and started taking stuff out of it. The lady never even knew. My niece and I started laughing and walked away without saying anything. ;)

I have had bad dreams the last few days about that happening to my cart - or I lose my cart completely! Isn't that crazy? You know what I have been thinking about!

I walked around keeping my carts close the whole time, or at least within sight. I always do that for markdown days as I have had people trying to take my things before. And, I have, inadvertently taken from other people too.

Oh, and I'd have ignored the lady trying to claim a whole aisle. You either get a cart and tote it around or give it up. That's insane. That's like what the scalper guy was trying to pull with the Walmart Disney Cars on me. Yeah, right, like I'm going to "obey" you because you claim them all. Geez. What a nut. On the other hand, I know a rather nasty woman who is like that and has been seen smashing and tearing the items someone else wanted to buy because they didn't go along with her. She's a real piece of work, and she does sell on ebay.

I don't care for it when people are greedy like that. It's one thing to plan ahead for birthdays, misc. holidays, gift closets, and of course the winter holidays, etc. But it's downright glutteny to buy like that when you know she's going to probably unload her items on Ebay or Craigslist.

Of course, this is my own opinion. :fluffy:

And if they haven't done it when you go, if you go in the morning, walk around till you find the markdown team and ask if they know when they are doing them because you don't want to hang around if they won't be over there that day. Last year, I went in the morning to a store everyone thought for sure was 75% off because all the other stores nearby had already gone the week before. This lady, who had three young kids with her, started just throwing stuff into her cart like she had just won a timed shopping spree. She was frantically loading her two carts, paying no attention to her kids who were constantly wondering away. I would've not even attempted this unless my kids were in lockdown in the carts, too much stress! She was overflowing with toys, excessively. I overheard her phone conversation as she was walking away that she was going to make a killing on ebay with the stuff she just got. Well, to my surprise when I scanned an item (and I'm sure hers when she made it to checkout), it was still only 50%!!!! At least I only had to put back three things

I think it was the only one. I checked the regular aisle in case there was more up high, like other people had said, but I didn't see any. They had a lot of clearance toys though, and I'm looking to get only a few things so hopefully if I don't get there until later in the day when it goes 75%, I'll still be okay. I know E. Colonial is where you usually go, how's their toy clearance section? Also, Hello Kitty stuff was marked as still only 30%, although I didn't have time to scan to verify.

I was disappointed about the toys not being marked down further at the two I went to today. :( However, I did find a few random things. Corona galvanized bucket with 4 glasses and coasters - 4.98. The chocolate fountain thing was 9.98, but I went to a different target after work and the only one they had was marked 4.98. It was next to the fondue set and the boxes were very similar so I thought it was probably a mistake. When I got to the registers, it rang up $9, but I showed him the sticker so he gave it to me for $4. Woohoo! BUT my best find was a target.com return. A pink kitchenaid chef's chopper! $39.99 marked 9.96. I almost ignored it on the clearance shelf but when I saw it was the pink one, I knew it was from the Oct. sets. When I went to scan it, I found the "as is" sticker on the top. I really needed this so I was VERY excited about it!

About the toys though, does anyone have the DCPI for the Barbie guitar or the Bratz mansion? One store had a ton of the mansions one day, and now they are all almost gone. I'm wondering if they've got some of them stored in the back. I'm still trying to go back and find that shumanfamily website, but even once I find it, I still don't have the numbers. :( Anyone have them? It would be MUCH appreciated!!!!

I would expect it this week either Thursday or Friday, but it depends a bit on whether they do it like the toys. I have been looking at a few of the things, and I notice there is significant variation in the % off and which items are on sale from store to store this go around. Seems like more variation than usual. But, I would still check this week. Thursday or Friday.

Ok, so my kitchenaid chopper just got sweeter. I found a rebate form for 2008 that includes $5.00 back for my chopper! If I actually get the rebate then I'll only be out of pocket 4.96! That would be fabulous!!! I sent the one in for the toaster just last week. I found a red one after they'd clearanced them out a few months ago. It was just sitting on the shelf like it belonged there, but I knew it had already went 75% off, and when I scanned, sure enough it was. I got it for $17.xx, so if I get that rebate I'll have paid $7.xx! Gave it to my grandma for xmas since her toaster was older than her and not really working anymore.

And if you can't find it on the Target site, you can SOMETIMES just look for the item on Amazon and get the ASIN and enter that on the Target lookup. I was trying to find out about the Vtech camera, and the DPCI didn't work on the lookup site. It isn't on Target.com, so I tried Amazon, found the ASIN and used that. Voila! it worked. There are plenty of cameras in this area. Then I had the misfortune to discover that they aren't clearanced around here for some reason.

Do they skip 30% off and go to 75%. Mine are still 30% so I might have to wait a little longer than most.

Yes, they do. Many of us had them go straight to 75% today, skipping 50% entirely. Go tomorrow!

[QUOTE=pottsie66;1066554], but the funny part was when she walked away from her cart to grab more stuff, other people thought it was a "mark down cart" and started taking stuff out of it. The lady never even knew.

I have had bad dreams the last few days about that happening to my cart - or I lose my cart completely! Isn't that crazy? You know what I have been thinking about!

Last year at the 75% off sale this woman said "This whole side is mine!" motioning to a whole aisle!! and even kept dragging more over to that side> We could not believe it. She literally would not let a single person near!

As far as I'm concerned, if it's on the shelf, it's for sale! Did people actually not touch anything b/c she said it was hers? I would have laughed at her and got what ever the heck I wanted!!!

I just went today and they had lots of stuff but most still 30% off with minimal 50% off toys. The Hello Kitty was still 30% as well and no roaster. I told myself not to buy one because i honestly don't cook often and don't have much storage, but then today I couldn't resist just making sure they didn't have any. The toy aisles were very clean and well put together. Good luck getting the stuff you want.

I want the CARS Arcade set but it's only 30% off. It was put in the toys clearance section, but I know it really is part of sporting goods. You think it will go straight to 75% when they do the sporting goods markdown? I want it for my son's birthday party, all the little kids would love it!

Also, don't know if you're interested in any adult sporting goods stuff, by mine had a lot of camping stuff at 30% off. I'm keeping my eye on the Coleman Propane stove, 2 room tent that was advertised in the sales ad for $81 (30% clearance), and some sleeping bags. Luckily event though the tent is in the sales ad, it's apparently not selling because they still have like 7 or 8 of them. Do they usually markdown the very next week if it's been in a sales ad?

Check the SHOES!! They were in a markdown frenzy over in the shoe dept.

Did pretty good, got the crystal light, more 3 pks of nuts, the $30 microplush throws for $7, christmas plastic bowls, pie carrier and plastic pitcher, The 12.39 dirtdevil that was 35 on BF (Whole endcap of those!), The 18 qt red roaster, whole bunch of kitchen thingys and a Nick and Nora PJ set for 6.25. Also got a couple of Intuition shave gift sets- I save a lot of money when I buy those, and a robe for my husband for 4.24!

Hi Alexac! You made out really good! :yup: Which one did you go to for all this great stuff? How much for the Intuition shave gift sets? I had gotten a Schick Quattro Titanium one a while back and they are great!

I usually go to Wayne, Union, Fairfield on 46, Watchung or the one near Secaucus...once in a blue moon I'll hit the Hackensack one, but it usually is so crowded and everything gets wiped out fairly quick. The one closest to me is actually Riverdale in the Bronx ( on E. 230st?), but there's so many ppl and everyone goes crazy that sales never make it very far. :(

That's funny, I cook turkey just once or twice a year and told myself I really didn't need it when it was 50% off. But then after reading on here all the people who were so excited about getting it, I found myself all giddy when I saw it today. And after reading the instructions, you can cook a lot of other things in it too. But it is big, I don't know where I'm going to put it! I figure for $14.xx, as long as I use it once or twice a year and maybe some friends or relatives would borrow it, it was worth it.

I was bummed about Hello Kitty only being 30%. I wonder if the other Targets are the same? I plan on going back tomorrow mid-morning, I'll post with an update on toy clearance.

I also do the Monroe, NY store by Walmart, and go to the one on 46 in Fairfield. I've gotten some great deals at the Fairfield Target. I was planning on stopping at the one in Riverdale this morning on the way to work...

Hi Neighbor! I also hit Wayne & 46 Fairfield! I heard from one of the clerks that 46 Fairfield has better clearance prices...do you think it is true too? If you see any good deals will yo let me know, and I will likewise for all us NJ Target lovers?

So I was in my Target (Royal Palm Beach, Florida) tonight looking at the toys to see if they would still have the I Play Guitar when it went 75% (they had tons of them). As I was looking 2 employees walked by and were debating whether the Tickle Me Elmos would go 75%. I followed them hoping to overhear them say when it was going 75 and felt like a frickin' stalker. Just north of B'ham here, not many posters from this area either but I know there are lurkers because you will see an area that has items that were scanned then sat down because they didn't scan as low as what was listed from this board. It isn't just one item but alot that's listed here. I wish I could contribute more but the nearest target is 45 minutes from my house and I only go about 4 times a year. Are you sure? The Amp'd ones don't usually come with the bags. Target had an exclusive blue one on clearance. It was a regular version, though, not the Amp'd. The Amp'd version has multiple speakers and is louder. I haven't seen those on clearance anywhere.

I'm not 100% sure because I didn't look at it too closely. It looked like the picture from Amazon and was a Target "Special Edition". Like I said, I didn't pay too much attention to it and only noticed it because my daughter thought it was a cute pink doggie.

Hard to say. They have been pretty behind everyone else, so even if they do it, I am not sure it will be first thing. I am probably going to go to the other Pasadena store (the 2 story former Robinson's May just over from Lake & Colorado). I KNOW they are going75% because they told me. Hi GD'ers!

If anyone sees a pink i-dog amp'd that looks like the one below or any other kind similiar on clearance, will you kindly post the price? I have a SKU from a receipt (087020719) if that helps! Thanks so much!

You might want to swing by the Duarte store if you come over. They had the big panda and a bunch (like 30 or more) of the LPS small sets. I bought the only 15 pet set at Madre today (shocked to have found it). Lake did still have the big plush today, too. Lake also had some of the small LPS sets and the Legos you want. You might do better there since we know they are going down, but just a guess.

Oh, I bet you just missed them. They do it twice a year, but they go FAST once they drop. Check back tomorrow if you can. I bet they'll go. And if they haven't done it when you go, if you go in the morning, walk around till you find the markdown team and ask if they know when they are doing them because you don't want to hang around if they won't be over there that day. Most are pretty nice.

I had never thought of that. Thank you!

And the women with the whole aisle claimed. I DON'T THINK SO!!! First that is soo tacky! I'm not a tattle tale, however I think I would have to go and talk to the Mgmnt or get on the "Red Phone" and tell them that there is some crazy, belligerent, woman in the toy aisle who is yelling at customers and claiming the entire aisle as her own. And let them know that they need to call security before the situation gets any uglier.

Anyway, I think I'll head out for when they open. I want to pick up a few things for Nephews birthdays and for the Angel Tree for Christmas.

Goodnight!

Our toys were still at 30 to 50% off today, as of 1pm. There was a woman in the toy section with a scanner, but she just marked down solar lights to 75% off. I kept checking back, but she did not remark any toys. I did find 2 Disney Princess sets with a play hair dryer, curling iron and makeup for $3.74. One was only marked $7.48, but it rang up at $3.74.

I found some girls shirts, tank tops and jeans for 75% off, but they mostly had sizes XS, L and XL. Also found some nice boys rugby shirts and long-sleeved shirts for $1.98 and $2.24.

I think I will check back tomorrow to see if toys have gone to 75% off. I am so anxious to catch that sale.

My one good deal was a Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer DVD. It rang up at $12.99, but I mentioned to the cashier that it was a Christmas item, and shouldn't it be 90% off? He gave it to me for $1.30. My kids will love it.

Are you sure? The Amp'd ones don't usually come with the bags. Target had an exclusive blue one on clearance. It was a regular version, though, not the Amp'd. The Amp'd version has multiple speakers and is louder. I haven't seen those on clearance anywhere.

Thanks all of you for responding. The AMP'd pink one is actually White with pink lines that look like drawn flowers/butterflies (kind of almost like a 'tattoo'). AMP'd ones are definitely louder!!! Really cool...now if it only was 75% off :gddogwoot: Last time I checked, the price was $29.44 ...the manager said it was regular price tho the # is kind of odd no?

The ones that are completely pink or completely blue are the reg version. Never tried it to see how loud it is compared to the AMP'd.

Please keep me posted if you find any pretty pls!!! Thx!:cheesy:

At Target last PM, overheard the the stockperson receive a call asking if the toys were 75% off...so I follow this person trying to listen what he would say - he gave no info since our toys are still at 30%. I told him we were the only Target still at 30% off in the whole country. Everything I scanned was the same as the red sticker.
If anyone is looking for the Hersheys fondue and chocolate sets, they were 75% off. and I did notice that the holiday cake and pie containers are now 30% off. Our endcaps are bare. I have been watching the small umbrellas that have been 30% off for over 2 months- still only 30% off. location:Boarman Target

Rossford, Ohio store was at 75% yesterday. Must have been earlier in the day as I was there at 4:30 and found a lot of empty shelves. Still managed to get a few things. Funny thing is, I have a 15 year old son and don't need to buy toys. This site keeps me psyched and I buy for Toys for Tots and Angel Tree.

How funny, that was me calling because I had just cleaned up at the Niles target, but there weren't alot of older girl stuff, so I wanted to go to Boardman today, still might go since maybe you put a bug in his ear, but I did notice that Boardman clearanced their christmas alot later too. Michigan was 75%!!! We had 4 or 5 aisles of toys and I can confirm Canton and Westland for sure. The Manager at one said that it was national today and up to the store if they went yesterday or not. Who know how true that is or not. It was packed so if you are in Michigan I would go now as people had carts and carts of stuff. They had the toolbenches, V-smiles, guitars etc.
I did notice that our V-tech cameras were not clearanced for some reason. I asked the girl i knew in markdowns and she checked again but nope.

Good luck to everyone today!

Clearwater ST no further markdowns and hardly any toys left at 30% to 50%. The Target at Boot RAnch still at 30 and 50% per the signs but some of the toys are scanning at 75% so it definiitely pays to check. I scanned the I Can Play Guitar and Piano cartridges and 3 of the 9 or 10 that I scanned are 3.24 and the rest are still 9.08 and 10.48. The ones that were marked down were the Barbie, Hot Wheel and American Idol cartridges for the guitar. That was my only find for the night because they were closing and I didnt have time to check anything else.

Well, I suppose I will have to venture into a Target today... but it will be my favorite one.:D
I've been a little gun shy since my last run in...
To update, the Target manager phoned me (not DH) to personally apologize for the way that I was treated, offered coupons and ASSURED me that Miss Kathie would be the recipient of some major retraining before she was turned loose on the registers again. Apparently she was called in and counseled at length over the whole fiasco.

Glad to see that you all have been finding great bargains... ;)

Had to share this as it was showing how anxious I was for this sale.

Last night after reading all these stories of crazy people claiming aisle and stuff I had a dream that I was at Target and some woman was hitting people with a Transformer doll just so they wouldn't get anything till she looked at it. Of course I grabbed stuff anyway and she tried to hit but I took her out. Everyone cheered and kept shopping.
I really need to start Target support group or something. My dh just shook his head when I told him. :tongue1:

I am in the same boat with you. I want to go at lunch time but my dh will kill me. He keeps telling me I'm a shopaholic. He would really believe it if I went at lunch time. Guess i'll wait and hope everyone left me something.

Sitting here at work getting more and more jealous.....Anyone seen some good boy toy deals in SW FL?????? Oh well, I guess I'm making money instead of spending it!! But, by the time I get out, everything will be gone:(

I'm fighting it right now. I work from home so I can go...but I NEED to work. Do I need to go buy toys? I'm fighting with myself right now...stay home and work. But if I wait...everybody will get my deals. :cheesy: What do I do????? Be responsible? go have fun?!?!

I went to two different targets today in the columbia sc area. Toys were being marked down while I was shopping. Sunset Blvd had 4-5 ailes (sp?) of stuff with nobody there.
Went to Harbison had 3-4 ailes of stuff and tons of people there.

Scored at the 1st stop :D
spent 141
here's a few
V-smile 12.49
pirate set of pirates of carribean 4.99 and different set for 6.49
slushie machine 4.99
video camerea org. price 50 marked down to 12.48 small but it'll be for my 8 year old.
noddy v-smile game 4.98
erector set 17.48
erector set 12.99 org price was between 40-60 don't remember
aquadoodle pens 1.13

My poor three year old had to go with me because he doesn't have school today and we shopped and or drove for 3 hours! But got lots of stuff and he's happy with the pirate stuff he got.

The only thing I couldn't find was the VTech camera really wanted that but oh well. Good luck to everyone else.

:tongue1:

Just wanted to let anyone near Mayslanding,NJ Target know, they are marking down toys right now from 30% to 75%.
However some of the Target employees refused to continue marking down the toys while I was there. "There were too many people in the aisle" is what I heard one of the ladies tell another team member. The other lady said well it has to be done today. The Two that were refusing just walked away. They were totally rude! They had only done like 1/4 of the items. Then just walked away. There was one target employee that was wonderful. She just kept working, marking down.
That one employee that kept marking down was so nice (helping scan things, changing people stickers that weren't marked down yet) I had decided I would go looking for a supervisor to say something nice about her. As I was approaching the supervisor to say something nice, I see the mean mark down lady coming too. She tells the supervisor I am not doing anymore, then walked away. I felt I had to tell the supervisor about how mean she was and how nice the other one was.
I just can't get over that they just walked away! If there were too many people then they should just block off the aisle and mark it all down. No major deal. Hey If I don't buy the toys Target doesn't make money and no one gets paid!

So if anyone is going to Mayslanding NJ target make sure you check to see if the items are marked down or not. Goodluck the toys are going fast.

DH told me to go to Target to pick up something for him, boy will he be sorry, lol. I didn't even go into Target at 8 am this morning looking for toys. I was just looking around for clearance stuff and ran into the toys and saw the 75% off. There wasn't but a couple of women looking. There were 3 isle and I put some stuff in my cart and almost got an electonic globe but didn't. I decided to go back through the isles again to see if I wanted to add to my cart and then it started to get pretty crowded. I decided I better grab a globe but they were all gone by then. :( A women w/2 lil screaming kids was grabbing everything and calling everyone. She had 2 globes and I almost asked her if I could have one but didn't. Guess I should have but oh well. I saw her loading up her van when I was leaving. She was having a hard time getting it all to fit in her minivan. She had 5 carts full of toys and her total came to $5xx.xx. :eyepoppin She said she was buying for friends at work and so on. I wonder how upset her DH is gonna be? lol Gotta love Target clearance!! But it also shows how over priced toys are.

Surprise, AZ toys are being marked down as I type this. I got there at 9:15 and there was no change. I ran into a Target employee that I shopped 90% off Christmas. We started chit chatting and he walked back to toys with me. He said toys were being marked down today but later. Anyways, I told him I was after the v-smile for the tv. He walked off for a little and came back. He had an employss mark one down for me and he put if high on a shelf so I could pick up discretly. I was so thankful!!! A few minutes later a different guy came over to mark down toys. I wanted the V-tech fridge magnets and I didn't want to wait. So I took it to him and said a 'friend' (which is you guys:D) got this for $5 is it being marked down? He scanned and slapped a tag on it. YAY! So I left after that. I didn't want to be tempted!

Hi there!! I am going after work today (the only time I can make it). Hopefully I can find some deals and will hopefully be able to post them here!!

Just got home from Target on Gunbarrel. I didn't get there until noon and there was still a lot left! I didn't buy anything (only b/c I had no money to spend) but I saw a lot that I wanted. Several people had carts piled to the top and overflowing. Hope you get some good stuff. If it were me I would also go to the Hixson Target. :) Good luck!

A co-worker of mine lives in the South Elgin, Illinois area, her local store was at 75% off this morning. She picked up a Barbie Throne for me! They had one Butterscotch left, but by the time she called me to see if I wanted it (which I did) someone else had alredy grabbed it. I have to teach her to always buy first and ask later :D

OH NO!!!! Yes! You definitely need to get her trained! :cheesy: I've been out desperately looking for one too with no luck yet! :(

I hit the Westbury store in Long Island this morning right at 8am and the markdown team was there marking all the toys from 30 - 75% off. It was only me and like 2 other people. It was great got a bunch of things to put away for my niece, nephew and little brother. Spent $75 got around 21 toys which would have cost me $300 full price. I even have 3 things wrappen in Valentine's Day paper already! LOL :o Went to 2 0ther Targets (Hicksville and College point) and both were still only 30 off.

Hey, did you go this morning? I was there at 8:30 till about 11:00. I just kept finding stuff. If you were there, I was the one with the one cart piled high. I saw a lot of the V-tech cameras. The Cheetah girls dolls were 75% off. Also a lot of Barbie stuff. They had stuff spread out everywhere. Wish the associates were a little happier there. I tried to talk to a few of them. One told me she had been there since 4am. Yikes.... Guess I would have been grumpy too. :)

Okay so on the advice of all of you on here, I am going to call the Target I am thinking about going to and price check a clearance toy to see if it is indeed 75% off rather than just asking what they are marked down to since you can get false information that way.

Which toy and DCPI number would you ask for? I figured I should pick one from the lists that people keep posting but there is not really a "common" one and seeing as I haven't been to this store and have no idea what they actually already have on clearance, I am finding this kind of hard so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for all the NEWBIE questions!! LOL ;)
