This is a good site to bookmark before printing out coupons from the web
http://www.cents-off.com/body_coupon_counterfeiters.htm#

There is a list of counterfits from 2006 to present.

What should I do if I've used multiple Juicy Juice coupons? I printed off their website when it was first posted. Am I going to get in trouble? SCARY!!

I have read mixed posting on their site about the Juicy Juice coupon. Several people have stated that Juicy Juice had the computer on their website but it still listed as being conerfit.

People have contacted Juicy Juice and if my memory serves me correctly, they have pulled the coupon. I guess they want them redeemed. Also, if the coupon comes directly from the website I would not worry about it. I do not print online coupons for grocery in that most stores that I shop will not accept them; unless the coupon comes in my email from a restaurant. I usually get them from Pizzeria Uno's and Bugaboo Creek.

I contacted Juicy Juice about the coupon, and this was the reply...

November 5, 2007

Thank you for contacting us regarding the Juicy Juice coupon.

The coupon offer you contacted us about is from a 2006 Juicy Juice program and was designed specifically for teachers as part of a Scholastic program. Although it was inadvertently posted to our website for a short time, we are aware that it has been circulated to many websites without Nestlé's permission.

The unauthorized coupon is now being copied and widely distributed. In some cases the coupon has been altered resulting in counterfeit coupons. For this reason, we are recommending that stores not accept any of these coupons as Nestlé will not be honoring them going forward.

We realize this decision may penalize some of our loyal consumers and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Please visit us at JuicyJuice.com for current promotions and offers.

Sincerely,
Kelly Henry
Consumer Response Representative

As I understand from this reply, the coupon IS NOT counterfeit if it was printed directly from the website they "inadvertently" posted it on. It was ALTERED and was thus considered to be counterfeit. You may notice on the CIC website that the "counterfeit" coupon was altered to print several coupons per page. If you read the fine print on most coupons, they will say that reproducing, copying, or altering the coupon constitutes fraud. Using the coupon is a matter of your own ethical principles. Nestle has said they will not be reimbursing companies for these coupons, so personally I don't think it's fair to cause the store to lose money. Not saying that I think Nestle is doing the "right thing" -- I think they need to honor the unaltered coupons as they were posted on their own website. It's all up to you -- if your store accepts the coupon, and you think it's their responsibility to get their money back -- go ahead and use them. You aren't going to end up in jail for it.

Mine are now in the trash, why are people still using them? You know it was a great offer but if we don't trash the ones we know are no good all the stores will stop taking internet coupons! Missy will you please post your reply from the company in the Juciy Juicy thread I just read it and they are still using them. Guess we cannot be the coupon police but if they are going to print from here they should listen to why they pulled the coupon.

I have pointed out coupons that were copied (like Target $5 off $25 order) and soome people just don't care. They just kept on posting how they were using them. One would say they wouldn't use it then the next post was "I used mine just fine today."+

Some people just don't care who they hurt as long as they get something for nothing.
These will be the same ones complaining that thier stores won't take the internet coupons and that prices are going up because companies are just GREEDY.

they are the same ones that use over 20 of the same coupons day after day to get stuff for free and don't buy anything else at that store and then they say that they're "never shopping at that store again!" when somebody tells them "no"

I agree with you. I do not hassel with or print internet coupons anymore. You definatley hit it right with saying that the prices are going up on groceries or just about everything else we have to pay for.

Altho I dont quite see eye to eye with the CIC, I agree that knowingly using coupons that will not be reimbursed is just plain wrong. That is why for so long so many stores would not accept IPs. I also know the CIC likes to scare people about stuff, and sometimes with no cause. Just take it how you want, but know that using that one fake coupon could prevent you from using the TONS of legit ones!

thanks. for the site. It doesn't look like there have many counterfeit recently, and it will be great to know that the coupons I've printed off the internet are definitely legit. (Because so many companies are scared of internet coupons because of the counterfeiting);)

Well there is now a sign in customer service at my local Kroger that states they will not be accepting internet coupons that have been printed from a home computer. The thing that ticks me off is that Kroger's website has a link to download and print mfg coupons. That is so not right.
