Well looks like we are almost neighbors. I live just outside of Charlotte in Lowell (small town).
They are awesome! The old man and women next door to me deliver papers and they gave me 10 papers that were left and couple of them were missing 2 of the inserts so I have 8-10 inserts of each set from the Charlotte Observer.

I just got back from Target and used the Glade Scented Oil Warmer ($3.00 coupon) towards 8 of the $2.5 Glade Plug Ins and they gave me $4.00 overage.

Now this week I need to start my planning on my first time triple coupon shopping at Harris Teeter.

But that is so sweet you thought I did. I went to the website and printed it out for my state. Honestly when the questions of "what were they" and "please share" I started to panic. I didn't want to type all that out...then I remembered where to find it. I didn't really read it over well, but what I did spot check it was what I had....and yes it was all of them.

So does that mean that all you other states didnt' get all those?
I went shopping this morning....spent $79 and saved $102. My goal is usually 50% so I feel for me I did pretty good. With Triples coming I expect to do 75% or better.

Who wants to come cut out all my coupons from my 4 other papers?

We never get double or triple here, but I do pretty good with price matching and coupons together. I usually save about 10-20% between price matching and coupons. I have never added up to see what I save with in store specials as well.

The difference in the coupon inserts also surprises me. I live in the triad area of NC and my parents live 2 hours away in the NC mountains. Many weeks, the coupons I get in the Greensboro News and Record are not the same as the ones they get in the Charlotte Observer! I will have to check your list against our inserts from today and see if they are the same.

The list is made from the state. It isn't a regional thing as much as what the actual newpaper itself decides to carry.

Actually I would buy 8 at one time. You don't have to use them all at once, however I do have a fairly big home and 4 cats and 4 boys....do the math, 8 is not enough LOL.
The other day I did buy the scented oil and I did get 6 of them and 3 of the free night lights. THey had them on sale plus I have coupons $1 off 2, and free nightlight with purchase of oil and that was the last day I could use them. I had run out from the last time I had gotten them about 6 weeks ago. That time I had purchased about 20 of them all together, I didn't do them all in one shopping trip but I did get 20 in about 5 shopping trips. I mailed some of the nightlights to my cousin (which I am rethinking $$ that one but HER HOUSE NEEDS THEM!) but I kept about 12 of them for my house.


I do stock up on the stuff we will use. I have about 30 cans of soup (bought about 45 hubby takes them to work), 7 boxes of Lucky Charms (I had originally bought about 25) and 10 boxes of nutri grain bars (orignally purchased 20). I bought them all when I had a coupon and they were on sale. This way I don't have to worry about buying them if I don't have a coupon and they are not on sale. I really try to stick to, only buying if it is on sale AND I have a coupon.

The coupon is you buy 10 cans of campbell's soup + DVD and you get $5 back.
Then this week if you buy $20 worth of Select P&G products on back of CVS ad,
you get a printed $10 coupon to use next week when Shrek 3rd is released!
So its basically $15 off the price of the DVD. :)

So do you actually use all the items you get with coupons? I'm curious about the 8 Glade Plug-Ins. I never use that stuff and can't imagine getting 8 at a time. lol

Very seldom do we not use everything and those we don't use we share with family. As far as the plug in we will use them. I have a big house so I like to put all of the same scent in the kitchen, den, living room and bathroom this way you can smell the same thing throughout the house. So basically these won't last long and the scents I got were something like rainwater fresh and those to me have a nice clean scent.

I am not the type to go buy something for the heck of hording it. I know people like that and I feel like going and raiding their house so I can use half of the stuff.

My goal is usually 50% so I feel for me I did pretty good.

Same here.. My goal is 50% and higher - and it even tells me on my receipt!! I get so excited.. My husband looks at me and thinks Im nuts.. :)

I was one happy camper.. They also accepted my expired coupons and the guy didnt care.. He checked them all.. I dont know if they do this at every store.. but it was nice..
I kept my one order of expired coupons seperate so if there were any problems I could just leave them..

I agree it is a great week. There is almost never kelloggs coupons. My family thinks I'm insane.

The list is made from the state. It isn't a regional thing as much as what the actual newpaper itself decides to carry.

This is the reason I subscribe to the Chicago Tribune. I live in Southern Indiana, and the coupons in the local paper are terrible. Even buying the Trib from the local store, there might be a dozen coupons total in the paper.
Subscribing, however, I get the Chicago area coupons delivered to me. 4 or 5 sections every week, and with no grocery stores up there who double the small coupons, plenty of $.50 coupons that I can take to my Kroger for $1.00 off. I'm playing the regional game, and it's paying off!

(This week, though... besides the P&G section, there's not a lot in there for me.)

I hit up Walgreens also! I also made out like a bandit on the flameless candles with the BOGO coupons I printed out about 2 weeks ago.....I did alot of them and have been using them at different places. Hubby thinks I have enough:p I think I have 12 so far:eyepoppin

I got some of those when they were on sale at Target with the $5.00 store gift card, I hadn't used them before. Well all they had was mostly the vanilla one, and I think it give me a headache. I tried one here by my puter and I would get a headache after sitting here. Vanilla never bothered me before but this seem to bother me. It is sitting her turned off now. I guess I should try and exchange the ones I had gotten for the other scent.

I'll save about $30-$40 on a $100 grocery bill with coupons alone. Not bad for a paper that costs $1.25 to subscribe to per week.

Again for me there were 4 inserts. This weeks are almost as good as last weeks. And what I really like is it isn't mostly cleaning ones, it is a lot of food stuff.... The last thing I need is more soaps and cleaners, I have so much I am going to have to stop cutting ANY cleaning coupons and give away what I have already cut out.

Yes this week's coupons are awesome! I even got 5 inserts b/c I got 2 of one - I think the delivery person deserves a tip for that, lol :)
