Can anyone help me get a decent deal on a wireless router?

Guidance on which ones work for you would be higly appriciated.

wireless G, or wireless N? If you already have a wireless N card, you probably want wireless N router, if you have G, it is probably overpaying to buy a wireless N router now, so you would want G.

Frankly I have no idea what G and N is. Can you tell me how to find out what i want? I think i have G but not sure. Is it something i need to check on my laptop?

My laptop has A/G/N and all other compatibilities..

A, B, G and N are levels of connection. A being the oldest and slowest, N being brand new and the fastest (most expensive.)
Please double-check that the laptop that you are looking to hook up has a wireless N adapter. This is new, so it is rather rare, but definitely possible. After you have double checked it, then we can start looking for deals.
Also: Using for gaming? How far away from the place the router will sit do you plan on having your laptop: most of the time and farthest commonly.
