I'm amazed at how some of you save so much. i was wondering if we could list the stores near us that doubles or triples the coupons. i have stop & shop they double up to $.99 theres also shop rite that triples (just found that out) but it's not near me and i don't have a car so it's harder for me to get to them. so what stores do you have near you?

In NC, atleast near Charlotte, Harris Teeter, BiLo and Lowes Foods Double up to 99 cents, and then they have triples 2 times a year. Atleast HT and LF do I don't shop that often at BiLo and I am not sure if they triple (Kodis97 would know).
Food Lion does not double.
I know in Knoxville TN Ingles doubles up to 50 cents.

One thing I have noticed in FL they didn't double coupons, but the groceries were not as expensive either.
When a store doubles the coupon that comes out of that companies profits, not from the manufacturer, and that is the reason that Walmart doesn't double. I had a friend that used to do the mark ups and markdowns at walmart in the grocery section and she told me that Walmart does not make that much money on their food...Though she wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed so who knows if she was reading it right.

In North GA, Kroger, Ingles, and Publix double up to .50.

The only store that doubles here is Homeland and they've shut down most of their stores in our area. I wish I had some of the great stores that you guys get to shop at!

Ralphs and Vons in California- and they double the face value, even if it is a dollar off. So, if I have a 1.00 coupon, I get 2.00 off. Then a few times a year, they triple.

In Phoenix area: Fry's, Basha's, Safeway double up to $1 (ie .01-.50 double face value, .51-.99 double up to value of $1), these same stores offer triples again up to $1 occaisionally but not consistently.

I am in PA, I shop at Giant, they double upto 99 cents. Every so often the give you 4 coupons to triple 4 of your coupons.

i didn't know pathmark does that, i have one here not to close i would have to take a bus there and a cab back but it might be worth checking out. thanks

Giant Eagle is listed on that list for Ohio, not all of the GE's in OH are still doubling. Mine stopped about 3 weeks ago.

Which Shoprite is doing triples? I'm curious because none of the ones in monmouth or ocean counties are doing them right now. For the moment the only places I know of running triples are Pathmark (ends today) and A&P.

Same here, and I have lived in a couple of different parts of my state!

I found a store on there that I didn't even know we had here...but it says they double coupons and isn't real far for me...so I may check it out.

Bruno's ( has been closed in GA for probably 10 years!!!!!)

If you have a Food Lion and shop there, make sure you go to their website and register your MVP card. Every Wednesday they email you a set of 4 coupons. Last year, the coupons that they emailed me saved me loads in October and November. In fact, I got over 30 pounds of sweet potatoes for free and baked them and then froze them so we had them all year long.

i did a web search on it and it came up, i have all the stores they have listed here in ny just not near me, which stinks when you don't have a car. but i didn't know how old it was, just thought i would list it as a guide. since conj emailed them maybe they'll update the whole thing.

i agree, as far as i know the stores around me that they have listed are right, but if any of you see something wrong on the list, you can email them and they'll fix it.

Fairydustcrissy - most the Georgia Pharmors closed years ago. There is a Piggly Wiggly up in the Georgia Mountains that I know of, right on the GA/NC border.

I just found out that our Krogers in Rochester, IN.... TRIPLES up to .50 and as many as you have. This store is 30 miles from me but it was worth the trip. $257.89 after coupons and Krogers card the grand total was $41.76!!!!! The Kroger in Peru, IN. doubles everyday and again as many as you have they will double up to .50.

Just got this from Kroger. I asked about the doubling/tripling.:D

Anyone know what area they are talking about? Up to .60 would be nice, there are so many .55 coupons out there.

I am in NY Shoprite near me only double to .99 cents.
The price shopper doubles up to $1

Shoprite doubles, occasional triples

Pathmark doubles, occasional triples

A&P doubles occational triples

They all only double up to $.99

Foodtown does occational triples. Maybe once or twice a year but they don't double.

Kings (I'm not totally sure. They are expensive.)

Wegmans doubles not to sure about triples

Also good to know. Stop and shop and A&P will do 50% off discontinued items.
