VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR FAMILY RESEARCH STUDY

Are you age 18 to 80 years old?

Is English your first language?

Do you have...

*No significant hearing loss?

*No current/past psychiatric problems?

*No current/past drug or alcohol problems?

*At least one first-degree male relative (parent,
sibling or child) living in the Atlanta
area who would also be willing to participate?
(One is a minimum; the more the better!)
Family members can be scheduled separately.

If so, you may be able to participate in our study.

Participation will take 4 to 5 hours and may involve:

*Brief pre-screening interview and hearing screening
*Screening interviews about medical & psychiatric history
*Neuropsychological testing, computer & startle testing
*Urine drug screen
*Blood draw (2 small tubes)

Studies do not involve medication.
All eligible subjects will be compensated $70 for completion of the study.
