Ok, I have read how you buy 20+ papers each week and sometimes more if you find some you really want.
Then I read how you bought over $1400 worth of groceries during triple coupon days for $70....How on earth do you keep everything organized? Is shopping with coupons a full time job for you? What do you keep your coupons in? A Radio Flyer wagon? A car trailer? With the amount of coupons you get each week, I can't image a binder with sports cards pages can be big enough, how many do you have? Are you going to be able to do as much when Lowes Foods does Triples?

I sit here in total amazement at the way you coupon...
When I grow up I want to be just like you.
You are my hero!

well i had one of the best teachers in the world! one of my good friends taught me!and when lowes hits triples i will do even better for the simple fact that lowes dont limit your trips! and i only use one binder but it is a huge one and i keep all of my big value coupons (.75,.70,.50) all in the front and count as i put it in the buggy. and i always get 5 of each thing and make sure that at least 10 of them hare going to give me overage. and you have to remember the only way to get overage is if the item is on sale! (example if it is $1.19 regular price and the coupon is .75/1 it will show up as .75 and .44 BUT if it is on sale for $1.19 it will show up at .75 and $1.50) and after all was said and done and i added up all of my receipts i got $2000+ for $88.xx! its not a FULL time job but it does consume alot of time because i love to do it! it gets that shopping streak out of my blood and i dont hardly spend anything at all!

i'm a little confuse on your example about the overage. how do you get 2 different prices on one item?

i shop at stop & shop and they double the coupons $.99 and under but if the itrem is on sale and and the coupon will double more then the item cost they don't double it. and they stop doubling after 4 coupons of the same item is used in one trip. another words if i was to buy 5 bottle of juice and i had coupon for it at $.75 the first 4 would be doubled to $1.50 the 5th one would stay at $.75. i wisah i could save like you do.

It works a similar way here at Ingles in the south. If an item is regualr price 1.19, the coupon will double up to, but not over that amount. If it is normally 1.50, but on sale for 1.19, the registers will allow it to double up to, but not over the 1.50. So the .75 coupon will double, because the regular price is 1.50, thus giving overage on teh 1.19 sale price. Hope that makes sense, lol.

oh ok. yeah that makes sense. i have to check with stop & shop and see if they do that. thanks for explaining it.

None of the store out here by me do doubling or tripling ever that I know of....I wish though....My hubby would be so incredibly impressed if i bought $2000 worth of groceries for under $100...he would love me in all kinds of new ways...LOL

My word!!! I wish we had a store like that around here. Alberstons did the triple up to 75 cents along time ago, but it was for just one weekend a moth. There are not any stores anywhere around me (that I know of) that do anything more that the normal triple up tp 35, double up to 50. It has made my coupon shopping a little harder. Also all of the stores around here impose a limit on quantity. Normally 2-4. I can't get anybody to take internet coupons either. :( Maybe I just need to move. :D

We only have one chain near us that doubles, and its only up to .50 :(
On rare occasions it'll triple the first 6, and I feel like I hit the jackpot that week LOL

I may have to travel alittle to get some better deals.
Which chains double or triple up to a $1?

In my area, Harris Teeter and Lowes Foods double up to .99 cents every day and a few times a year, they triple up to .99 cents for 3 days. Lowes usually does it about every 3 months. Harris Teeter used to do it about twice a year, but recently they have been doing it about every 3 months too. If you have either within a reasonable drive, I would do it!

Nope, none of those. :(
I have Food lion, Martins, Giant.. and a 45 min+ drive would be krogers & maybe
a sav-a-lot (or something like that).
Martins is the only one close to me that doubles, but its only up to .50 - sucks.

I LOVE THAT! I used to live in Florida too (East Coast) and didn't realize how EVERYTHING in FL is geared toward the elderly until I moved to NC...

They didn't double on my side of the state either. There was (is) One Harris Teeter in Jax Fl, but I never went there to know if they double there like they do here in NC. But like I said before groceries were cheaper where I lived in FL than they are here in NC.

What state are you in? I have never heard of the stores Harris Teeter or Lowes Foods, wondering if I am missing something that may be close. Are they new stores, maybe one will come here soon....wish for triple coupons or double up to .99

I am in North Carolina. I think both of these chains are mostly in the south/southeast. You could check their sites to find locations: www. harristeeter.com and www.lowesfood.com. I am pretty sure that they are only in a few southern states though. Good luck!

I live in FL also and no store has doubled in years. The last one that did was Albertsons but that was years ago.

We don't have triples here in Ga. anywhere that I know of other than Ingles does it here and there. I buy pending on week and deals I buy 500.00 to 1ooo.oo a week, if oop. is more than 100.00 I am not a happy camper.
I just got back from Target 27 bags candy like 20 bags M&M, and 7 things of snicker and other junk candy
Today at Target candy is 75% off makes m&m .07 each.if you use store cp.1.00 off m&m's.
The Polly pockets cps 5.00, there are some for less than 3.oo money maker pending on cashier.or buy the 4.99 ones and just free
Those 4 packs of soda, grape, stawberry, lemon aid & candy corn are now .33 each(small cans) bought 4 packs of them as well = total???????? OOP I paid .99cents Love it!
My only problem is can't get to all the free stuff every week I hit Target,Publix & Kroger every week, if time hit WalGreen's, CVS & Rite Aid. if worth it might just go get the free stuff only from them. There are great deals with CVS and Walgreens doing the rebate with CVS so much free stuff. Just flip the money from rebates every month. pay close to nothing after you get going with it. WalGreen's easy saver deals just as good.
Key thin above reg stuff. Find out stores around you who takes other store cps. & what other store cps will they accept. Like my Kroger will take Publix cps.only. My publix will take Bj's cps and Kroger. Well one does and other does not different Publix.
