Call around to different Targets and keep checking. I was in Target on Wed, and specifically remember seeing 2 of those sets. My son was really into LE's last year and disney really had not put any toys out so I always notice anything with them on it.

Yeah I definitely think so, if you want one you might start looking now... I've been looking for a month and only saw one that first time.. I was a little concerned about the price but seems to have good reviews..

No luck at the one target, but there is still 2 other targets that are 30 mins away. I will look next weekend, as i am on call for the hospital and unable to go that far out.

Yeah I think you are right. A rain-check usually does not mean that they will hold the item for you it just means that whenever they get the item in you will get it at sale price...so if it is not on sale it probably would not do you any good.

I just Spoke with Fisher Price who makes the Little Einstein Pat Pat Rocket. They have put a hold on distribution until October on these because of all the toy recalls. This toy is a Target exsclusive for more info call 1-800-432-5437 the item # is L1874.

I have gone everyday to Target this week on my way to work get there right when it opens and lo and behold found 2 of them today and snagged both of them one for my son and one for ebay. If you want it that bad you need to go daily. Lucky for me it is right next to my work.

I'm checking but they haven't had it listed as in stock near me since I've been looking (the 2 stores I went to were the only ones that showed in stock and were about an hour away.

I'll keep my eye. The closest store to me is an hour away, but If I see it I'll let you know.

If you call Fisher Price they could be releasing them Oct.1 and depending on when your daughters b-day is you might still have a chance. I think every Target had 2 of them and that was it. They said with all the recalls I guess thet just wanted to be sure. Target (CORPORATE)& Fisher Price were very nice. I just asked why they were advertising a toy all day that you couldn't buy. I could understand if they were making them and people were buying them up. But didn't understand nobody within 200 miles of here not having them for weeks.

I have five Target Stores within 10 miles of me that all say that it is available. If you still need one I can take the time to call all of them and see if they do have it and will hold it for me to pick up. You would have to pay shipping but my husband works for FedEx Ground so we do get discounted shipping for $3.00 or $5.00 depending on the size and weight of the item. I hate to hear that someone has 60 on ebay and you can't find one!

I don't have any kids yet so I luckily don't have to deal with this toy madness very often and was lucky last year to walk into Target last year as they were putting out PS3's which is all my husband (sometimes like a kid) wanted for Christmas (in addition to all the accessories, Blu-Ray Disks of his favorite movies and lots of games of course!!:) So I got very lucky!

hey brynnfromtheblock i looked on targets website, and it says a target near you has them available. might want to check. mine was actually accurate today, when it said they had them instock. I called them and told me that they were sold out, but still ran by, and sure enough there was 2 on the shelf.

My husband was just in Chicago and picked one up for my DD at the North Chicago Target. The other Targets listed in the Chicago area had some available as well. He had to bring that thing back on the plane I had no idea how big it was.

Aww thanks... leslie (karina_anne) sent me one and I got it in the mail today... I also saw one at our Target today but the party is next weekend and I have this bad luck Schleprock thing going on so if I hadn't gotten it from Leslie I'm sure there wouldn't have been one on the shelf today lol!!!! but for 6 bucks shipping I ensured I had one, and found out there are lots of great people on this board so it was worth it to me!!

If anyone is still wanting one of these and are anywhere near Memphis, I was told today that one of the Memphis stores has 21 of them. I don't live close enough to Memphis, but they did an inventory check for me at my target and that was the closest one to me with any. I don't have any idea how many Target's there are in Memphis. I live in Sonoma County, California and have searched my local Targets and checked online for stock around where my friends and family live...all says OUT OF STOCK. ITA. Sometimes I hate ebay - brings out the worst in some people. All it would take is for people to just REFUSE to buy all the overpriced stuff that people have created artificial shortages of, and they'd be stuck with their 60-some Rockets and however-many hot new game systems they've bought out from under everyone who wants 'em for their own kids.

I was in Target yesterday (in NC) and they had 5 yes 5 Rockets. I couldn't believe it! Maybe they are going to be more available now. Hopefully, that way ebay won't be selling them for crazy prices.

I think they are trying to have these in stock. The Targets around me all said they had them available around columbia SC. I went yesterday and picked one up for my DS5 for his B-Day. After reading these posts I was thrilled to find it :)

Found one this morning!!

I called first the website said that a store close to me had them in stock. She looked and said the box was still in the stock room she would just keep it there and to ask for her in the toy dept. She brought the box out and there were 2 in the box. I took 1 and she put the other on the shelf. I am not sure if there were any more boxes in the back but I kind of got the feeling that if there was, there were only a couple of more.

I just checked 3 out of 10 stores in my area showed available finally this morning, 1 of them is already to limited availability.

I agree that I think Target is trying to get more out there but I don't know with the demand already being so high if they will be able to fufill the demand by Christmas. They have known for the past couple of months that it is in demand and then they placed it in their toy catalog only increasing the demand, yet the week the catalog comes out there are only 6-8 Pat Pat available for each store.

All in All I am happy camper as I have one for my little guy for Christmas!! YAY!!!

THanks for posting was able to get one today for my son. I thought he was not into LE anymore but of course he was looking through the Target toybook and that was the first thing he pointed to. My target had 2 and I bought 1. They looked like they had just stocked the shelves.

I still have not seen another one at my Target (Colorado) since I bought mine back in Sept.

eBay prices are waaay down now. You can get one close to cost if you really can't snag one from the store. A lot are closing around cost.

Check today on the Target site for availability at you local stores, it seems that lots of stores in several states are showing in stock this morning!

Thank you! I have been looking forever for this and found it today! Christmas Eve for my daughter. It is the only thing she has been asking for. I decided to check to boards today to see if anyone had seen it. I wasn't going to go out but it said my store had them. There were three there. Now the only problem is that I have told her she probably wouldn't get one because she has been naughty - now she will think it is ok to be naughty!:D
