looking for a good deal on a 17" CRT. I currently have a SyncMaster 793mb Monitor that I am happy with. I am interested in something simialer.

Take a look at KDS monitors. I've had really good experiences with those. Of course, if you are going dual, you may want to go with another Samsung so you can get matching (or close) looks.

between$75-120 seems to be the norm that I have seen

Things do change. I remember buying my 19" syncmaster 955df some years ago for $300 and thinking I had gotten a deal because a few years before I had paid $300 for a 17" nec multisync fe700.

I remember those days. Although the Samsung 955df was always highly recommended, I saw one and wasn't that impressed. I was always a Trinitron FD fanboy :)
