I dunno now... I have been a bit of a "laptop whore" the past 2 years... but last year's Best Buy laptop is still holding up nicely for me... so this year, I may go to the store with the cheapest Nintendo DS for my daughter.

It's already decided where I'm waiting in line at: Fry's Electronics. The only place I've got that'll have the processor/mobo combo I'm looking for my ultimate PC. I finally get to build it this year. :D

Might get a laptop as well. I sold the Wal-Mart BF laptop I got a few years back, so I'll be lookin' at gettin' another one. Problem is, I gotta buy it online or at an early BF sale so I don't miss out at Fry's. So, whoever has the best non-line waiting laptop deal.

I've got two main items that I've gotta get: Home Computer & Digital Camera. Both of those that we have are VERY out of date (4yr+ old Dell laptop & 3.5yr old 2mp Kodak camera). HOPEFULLY one store will have both of those items (BB... :) ).

LCD or Plasma TV. I am looking for a couple of TV's this year. At least 32'' and definitely the thin LCD or Plasma HDTV's. I have a dd who still breastfeed's and co-sleeps so I don't know how I will be able to camp out :( Usually I get up at 3:00 am and go to Wal-Mart and she went with me last year. I have already warned dh that if he wants a TV this year he will need to step up and take care of dd this year while I am camping out.

A lot of it depends on what (if any) new iPods are announced this week (the 5th I believe). A lot of new models / upgrades could mean nice price drops on the current models, which would help things come BF if they are still available in any quantity.

We are looking for a 37" or 42" TV to replace and old CRT in the bedroom. Whoever has the best deal on that for a decent brand will get us to line up early. Outside of that it's whatever fits the bill OH and we want to find a good deal on a laptop for my BIL he's in HS so his money is tight.

This year i really want a nice Garmin GPS unit. I think you will see the cheaper Garmins for 100 and some of the nicer units for 150-250. Hopefully it's not a super sought after item so i don't have to stay out all night to get it.

Yeah, I think the only way those Ipods will drop in price is if a new edition/upgrade is released. Otherwise, Apple keeps a pretty tight operation w/ their products. Might be able to find an itunes giftcard offered with a purchase though..

I like walmart for any of the electronics stuff b/c ours is 24 hours so you can get in line really early and not be outside all night, get what you want as soon as the sale starts and be out of there 15 minutes later and on your way to the next store :) We've done that the past several years. Last year my DH even waited outside the doors with the car running so we could get to staples where my sil was in line for us lol.

Never been too much of a "one item gal" over the years. We always scan the ads and see who's got the best "over all" that suits our needs. But hubby has been talking about a new t.v. for quite awhile now so this may be the year we sleep on someone's sidewalk. The Apple store carries refurbished ipods--I just ordered my husband a shuffle for running for $49.

I was in the market for a good 32-37 inch LCD TV.

Walked into the HH Gregg tent sale and found a 32" Toshiba Regza floor model marked at $475. I have not seen this TV anywhere under $700 plus tax and shipping.

My thought process was that I would get an offbrand for around 350-400 by ruining my Thanksgiving Day and sleeping in front of a business, for less than a hundred more, I bought a quality TV without the hassle.

I may go to Meijer for play dough this year.

I am interesting in a 32-37 inch HDTV LCD. I had a 32 inch with a receiver for hdtv but didn't like since the hd picture didn't look good to me (maybe I didn't set it up right). When used with regular antenna was great but I traded it on craiglist for car work. I need the hd built in so all I need is an hd antenna.
