my DD's would have to be Jingle bells. she should be busting that tune out anyday now and it will last well beyond when christmas is done and over, lol.

I love pretty much all Christmas music. My favorite traditional song is "O Holy Night." Favorite crude holiday song is "30 Point Buck". 'Cause what would Christmas be without some belching and deer hunting :cheesy: Middle of the road song, anything from Trans Siberian Orchestra.

There is one song I don't do. "I want a hippopotomus for Christmas." That's when I start looking for a sharp object to jab my ears with.

Boy, what a toughie. I love them all but I still get chills when I hear O Holy Night. Also most of Handel's Messiah. The boys hate driving with me. I start Christmas music the day after Halloween. In fact I have a cheapie MP3 player that is still loaded with music. Another song I love to hear and sing along to (sorry boys) is Christmas Cookies.

I can't remember a Christmas where my mom didn't put in the Lynn Anderson Christmas C.D. and listen to it while wrapping gifts and she would always turn it up a little bit louder when this song came on :)

My favorites are All I want For Christmas is You, Mary Did You Know, I'll Be Home For Christmas. My favorite Christmas CD's are all of my Elvis Christmas cd's, Trans Siberian Orchestra, and Motown Christmas cd.

All time favorite: Carol of the Bells, hands down. More recent favorites are both by Trans Siberian Orchestra - Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24 and Wizards in Winter. Love them!

I spent alot of time last year tracking down that lp, and finally found it. I ordered it in cd format, burned some copies & surprised my brother, sisters & mom at Christmas-time. They loved it. But the best part is that all my nieces & nephews, as well as my own kids, will be continuing our silly family tradition. That cd played in my car for months after Christmas. :holiday16

Hello everyone! I just love anything from Mitch Miller -Yep it's an oldie! But my mom use to sit with me and play it again and again when I was very little. It didn't matter how many times I'd ask she'd do it and we'd sing along-the album opened up and had pages of lyrics. I remember asking her if SHE ever kissed Santa Claus? lol I love Bing Crosby as well- mostly the oldies I guess since they bring back many happy memories for me. Since she's gone they have even more meaning to me. I play the songs over and over again until even my hubby is like "Ok hon,umm don't you have anything else?!" rofl
