I love looking at the lights. And seeing the kids eyes light up when they first wake up.

I love the lights even though my dh won't put any on our house. Thinking back on my childhood that was such a magical thing. Driving down the street and seeing all the houses decorated. I have to admit that last year only a handful were actually decorated in our entire neighborhood this year! I also love to see others open the gifts that I've given them. I take a lot of time and try to find just the perfect unexpected item that they would never ask for but secretly want!

My favorite part is watching people open gifts too. I work hard trying to come up with stuff that they would really like and it's fun to see their faces.

I love buying people gifts. :) I also love seeing my family, and that will be even moreso this year since I've moved for college.

I love putting lights on the house, decorating the inside, putting up the tree, wrapping presents and watching everyone open their presents - seeing the excitement on their face. I like to open mine last as I enjoy watching everyone else.

I love setting up the tree, looking at lights, seeing my DD's face light up. this year with my DS it will be even more special, even though its technically not his first christmas, to me it really is.

I love the lights and the smells and buying gifts, but what I really love is that people seem to get along so much more during Christmas. People actually say thank you and are tolerant (except on BF), and just seem happier. That's what I enjoy. Maybe I'm nuts!:rolleyes:

Christmas tree with lots and lots and lots of lights, the multi- colored ones and at least 1 strand of twinkle ones. All the lights off, except for the tree and a cup of cider.

Spending time with extended family is the number one thing, with watching my nephews open their gifts a close second.

Buying stuff for my kids. Yes they are spoiled rotten, even though they say they never get anything.

The lights, the music, the Christmas specials on TV, and I especially love getting together on Christmas Eve with family and all of the awesome food!:D

Wrapping all the gifts, I try to make each one look as if it was professionally wrapped, the holiday scents and the time with family and friends.

pretty much everything about the holidays...shopping for presents, wrapping the presents, all the lights and decorations, Christmas trees. Nothing beats seeing how my kids faces light up when they see what Santa left!

EVERYTHING. I love the shopping, I love sending cards, I love wrapping, decorating, baking cookies, buying great gifts, family time...even coffee in my bathrobe at 4 am Christmas Morning. Actually, I started planning our Christmas card picture today...lol

I love almost everything about the holidays, I think that everyone is happier,more friendly, the snow makes things for peaceful, the christmas songs, and seeing everyone in the family that I normally don't get to see threw the year.

In my family, I'm the youngest of 8 and I have a huge extended family. Not all of us make it home every Christmas, but most of us do. I love to be with all of my family and the craziness of all the kids running around excited about what they got from Santa. Our tradition is to get up the next morning, pack the new toys in the van and drive to Pigeon Forge TN to a cabin that we have rented. It is a beautiful part of the country and we get to spend quality time with the kids.

I have so many things I really enjoy.....but seeing the smiles on my children faces all through the holiday season is precious.....decorating, baking with them, singing christmas songs, and of course the presents.

I love the smell of cookies baking, hot cocoa, good hot coffee, the lights, the packages. I like to go out driving and looking at the lights. My MIL can't drive at night anymore so we picked her up last year and went out a few days before Christmas. I got Starbucks for me (no one else wanted it and I know, in NE Florida it's not really cold, but I can dream...) and had the radio on low on a station w/ 24 hour Christmas music. We had a blast and I'm already planning another tour of the city!

I love decorating my house, baking cookies with my kids and family, the snow-if we get any- wrapping presents, the countdown to christmas, my kids get sooooo excited, Opening presents, family get togethers even though my sister's fiancee passed away 2 yrs ago during Christmas....so sad, he was only 23, so we will hold a candlelight vigil for Eric.

Picking our tree out & decorating it while listening to Holiday Music. My fav. moment is when your all done shopping, had your dinner and you can just sit and take in everything and realize how Thankful you are for your health, family, friends.

I can't think of anything I don't enjoy about Christmas...watching my family open gifts especially the grandkids, Christmas Eve we get together and Santa always calls to talk to the 2 little ones...I love the look of surprise when he tells them things that they have done the last few days..lol...Going and looking at the lights, decorating...having friends and family around....Wish it would last longer. :holiday08

My favorite thing about the holidays is just the sense that magic is in the air and it's ok to "believe" for a short bit of each year. Believe in family, miracles, goodness, joy, peace, SANTA!!!!!!! Just a belief in something extra-ordinary!

Well lets see I love to drive around with the kids and looking at the christmas lightsand listening to christmas music, baking cookies, watching christmas movies next to the fire and having the tree on, and the kids are a lot more behaved.

I love everything about the holidays. I don't remember ever having a bad Thanksgiving or Christmas no matter what was going on at the time. I love the music, the weather, the food, shopping, being with family, giving gifts, decorating, going to various holiday events here in town, just the overall feeling. My favorite two things that I do every year is sitting and watching a movie, just my husband, with only the tree lights on and on Christmas eve after everyone has gone to bed, I like to sit alone and watch the tree lights and reflect on all of the good things that have happened over the past year and how fortunate we are. I take that time to think of friends and family who are no longer here. Now I want to go and drag out the trees and I promised I would wait.....

I love everything! I love the smell in the air, the Christmas lights & displays, baking cookies with the kids. I'm one of those weird people that actually like to wrap presents. :holiday12
I love the eggnog & the food. I love shopping with family members, and all of us getting together for Christmas.

The decorations. Everything looks so pretty. I also love the smell of the pine tree and watching my kids open their gifts.

What is there not to love?
There are so many things about Christmas that I love. Love to decorate the inside and outside of the house then to sit there with the house lights off and enjoy the hard work we did. Listening to Christmas music. Watching christmas shows/movies. Baking cookies and haveing my kids help me decorate the cookies. The pure magic and excitement that you see in the kids faces and fell in the air.
