Just got my supposedly-corrected credit report back from them today and it's still wrong. They are listing an old car loan twice--the account number was changed partway through the loan. Ford Credit tells me they've contacted the credit bureaus numerous times, telling them to delete the old account number and only leave the new one on. Out of the three, only TransUnion still shows the old one--and now they are telling me that *I* have to fax them documentation showing it needs to be deleted. But Ford Credit says that's unheard of, they submit electronically, and they legally can't send me anything that TransUnion can use. I don't understand why TU is being such a pain in the BUTT about this. The info is wrong, I've disputed it, Ford Credit has given them the correct info, and they still keep it on. WTF???

I even called back to talk to someone else, later, and got the same person.

And I paid the loan off Feb 2 and it's still showing as having a $1K+ balance. GRRRRRRRR.

That sucks.
