Don't wait to get email from them about surveys. It rarely ever happens. Check the boards frequently. Studies close very quickly. Some pay, some do drawings for Amazon GC's. The odds of winning are much better than at regular survey sites as these studies accept Far Fewer Applicants. When you log in to check surveys, ignore where it says "Credit." The reward is explained after you enter each study. They are trustworthy and reliable.

I haven't received my GC either. I contacted the Behavioral Lab via the form on their "old" site 3 days ago. They emailed me and told me that they had problems with that program that monitored the study and it didn't switch the study over to "completed status" for me, so it looks like I signed up for the study and didn't take it. They told me to contact the researcher in charge of that study. I've done that, but I haven't heard back from him yet.

I have been under the weather so just now knew that this site had changed, so I have missed out already. My main problem is that I have no way of remembering what studies I took on the other site. how do you get a password for these??

I received an e-mail reminding me I must take Ad World before 9:00 AM this morning. I cannot find any way to get into the experiment, it is listed but nothing happens when you click on it. I got the e-mail yesterday, e-mailed people in charge of it, got one auto response that person is out of office and no response from the other. Is anyone else having this problem? Thanks

I have had about 6 experiments all with either passwords or full time slots for the pass 2 days but I check a couple times a day and one opened up last night THEN I got in on a good one today that originally would not let me in. You have to check this site a few times a day and sometimes click on each available experiment as it seems some open up from hour to hour! If you don't get an email with a password there is nothing you can do. But like I said keep checking back because the one I just did was closed for 2 days to me then it left me do it no problem!

The study was titled "Cognitive Study" and if you scroll down on their website or any survey company they have a " contact us or email "addy..It really pays to keep records of all surveys waiting on payment..

Check under your "My Schedule/Credits" it will show all studies that you have completed on the new site and if you have been paid or it is pending..:gdflower3: and you can contact them at their addy at the bottom of the site..

I recently e-mailed them about said complication, and it came to my attention that certain studies are private, and you can't participate in those. Sometimes the password will be provided on the site, or in one situation I e-mailed and received the password.

I recommend sending an e-mail for the password, it can't hurt.

I am upset, I had emailed Stanford regarding payment for the "Attitudes, opinions, and social situations" study , it really hadn't been that long of a time, but I had received payment for studies i completed after the Attitude and opinion study, which isnt like them, so I thought maybe it had gotten lost, etc.. anyway I received this reply..

They just went thru this a while back and they sent out a warning about it..I know it cant be our Gottadealers and I kinda suspect another forum but anyway it puts us all under a cloud and It's upsetting because it will eventually cause Stanford to stop these studies and I am sure it is probably the reason there arent as many as their used to be..It has to be so very frustrating for these students to separate and identify the email addys and IP's when they should be concentrating on the results of the studies..I have no idea if it is just one or two people or 10 or twenty that are cheating, but 1 or 20, it doesnt make any difference it will still hurt all of us..:(

This really peeves me. Why do people have to take advantage like this and ruin it for everyone. Not only are they stealing these students money but also they are ruining their projects. I have not taken many since they moved to the new site and I have been having internet issues -- a virus actually that I think is finally completely gone. So I assumed it was my computer acting up. I logged back in to see if it had accepted my survey. When I did it was still there showing that I needed to take it?? So I thought it had not accepted my info so I retook it. I was contacted about it and I explained what happened. The researcher was very understanding when I explained to him at length what had happened. I only have one log in so it was not like I was trying to use multiple addresses or anything. I was just thrown off because it still showed I needed to take it. I do have to wonder if others are having the same issue as I did and thinking the survey did not complete.

Yeah I have heard of others doing that...especially on the old Stanford site. I felt so bad when I got the email though...sheesh they were going to kick me out of the site. I am a very honest person and I take the studies very seriously. And I really do enjoy the Stanford and UCLA ones. They are interesting and make you think. I also love how they usually tell you at the end what the study was really about. Thankfully from reading my response they realized that I was for real and not taking advantage of them in any way.

I think this is part of the reason that they stopped taking new applicants. I think they have plenty of good ones and are going to weed through and get rid of those that are duplicates and then use those of us that are honestly taking the surveys, only once and taking it seriously. I sure hope that is the case anyway.
