Has anyone ever had problems using multiple coupons of the same kind? I had some coupons for B1G1 free shampoo or conditioner. Purchased 2 items for every coupon and the register had to have approval from customer service. CS lady came over and read the coupon, etc and would only let me use one. I know the people behind me were probably getting a little ticked at me but I told her to take them off. The cashier had already scanned all the coupons and had to take them off too. (after waiting 5 minutes for the CS lady to come over in the first place) I just politely told her to take off the additional items and she returned my coupons, however the cashier had already written in the amount on them. So now will have problems using the coupons somewhere else? I was so embarassed, she made me feel like I was trying to steal something.

I don't know what it is but I don't like to use coupons at Wal-Mart. I try not to do it very often. Luckily there is a Target a couple blocks away from the Wal-Mart so I just go there.

I would keep trying to use the coupons, sooner or later some cashier will take them. :)

Were you using 2 b1g1 coupons for 2 products or 2 b1g1 coupons for 4 of something?

I had 2 products for each b1g1 coupon. Funny thing is I had 10 of the $2 off olay soap coupons which were 1.97 each 2 bar pack and had no problem using them and getting an overage of .03 on each one, I even told the cashier she may have to adjust them because of the overage.
I sent an email, don't know if it will do any good or not.
I knew there was some reason I hardly ever go to Walmart anymore. But then again I never really have to since I'm stocked on all the essentials from CVS and clearance deals at Target.

what was the reason that they gave you for not accepting your coupons? did you pull the items out of your bags & show them that you bought enough items?

She said I could only use 1.

I have all but given up on Walmart's coupon policy..inconsistant at best.

I had a regular manufactors coupon and they still questioned it....I don't think its right that they hold up a line and make the shopper feel like a criminal for using them.

I tried once again to use a internet coupon from a manufactor at the same store I previously had trouble with..emailed hq's and received a call back from ass. manager..And still I was told they don't accept them...

Their solution is to spend more time at the CS desk to discuss the coupon..So along with my .50 manufactor coupon and a 6 dollar alavert coupon I walk to CS desk..where the person there repeats the same ole story..we don't accept online coupons..but will take the .5o cent coupon.

Fortune 500 business that has poor CS..off to Meijer's!!

I used to be a cashier at Wal-Mart. It was by far the WORST job I ever had. :yuck:

The think the thing with the B1G1 coupons is that the cashier has to take the time to look-up what each product costs or check the price by rescanning the item (that is probably already bagged and in your cart). Then, they have to write the amount on the coupon.

It's probably just that the cashier is not trained well enough to know what's going on. I don't remember ever having to get approval from CS.

My Wal-Mart sometimes gives me fits with the internet coupon as well. They say, "If they scan, then we accept them." So, it's kinda hit and miss with the printable ones at my supercenter.

Wal-Mart doesn't pay their associates very well, so most of them don't give a rip. It's the last place they want to be, and they're not afraid to say it.

I started buying my most of my coupon items at CVS or Walgreens or a grocery store that doubles coupons because Wallyworld made me feel like an idiot for holding up the line too many times. They don't ever have enough lines open and there's always employees just standing and walking around doing nothing and they act like you shouldn't use coupons because they are Wallyworld and their prices are so good that you don't need to use coupons there. But do I shop there almost every week, yes I do.

I also do most all of my major coupon shopping at Walgreens and Target. I ALWAYS have my coupon book with me even at Wal-mart...but I only use them there if I happen to buy something that I have a coupon for. Walgreens is by far my best coupon experience.

I really don't get too bent out of joint by people behind me anymore. I just think to myself every time I check out it's like putting an extra $20-$40 in my pocket. If they understood how much you could really save...they'd do it too.

My Walmart is usually awesome about taking coupons, but for the first time this weekend I had trouble. I was using 4 different ip coupons, for 2 different products. The girl would only take one coupon ...period. She says that is what they are supposed to do and there are cashiers that are letting it slide and they aren't supposed to. So even though I had coupons for pop and juice. She only let me use one. That is crazy, I have never heard of them doing that. Maybe if it was multiples of the same product, but I was buying different items with different coupons!
