View Full Version : Printed coupons used at self checkouts? flowerchildsmom 4-9-2007, 10:39 PM Just curious if any of you have tried going through the self checkouts like at Wal-Mart or Bi-Lo and had successful attempts at using printed coupons? Do you have to have the lady at the podium come over when you pay or what? I haven't tried it yet. I tried to buy a gift card at our walmart and the lady gave me a bunch of crap about it. misshayley 4-10-2007, 8:40 AM Our self checkouts take them, but they closed down our self checkouts at WM and said that everyone was closing them (this was 2 months ago) I would really like to know if "everyone" is closing them. migirlfriday 4-10-2007, 9:23 AM They have not closed them at the Lapeer, MI location, but the one in Caro, MI never installed them, even after they upgraded to a SuperWalmart. The coupons that you scan at the self checkout goes into a slot. It seems that I have had to hand them to the 'cashier' watching the checkouts before too, but the last time I used them, it told me to 'insert coupons into slot'.
