We’re looking to hire someone part-time in Kansas City, MO..

Who is CinemaScore?
CinemaScore is an established entertainment research company that polls moviegoers on opening night (Fridays) for each major film. Each poll compiles a score, and is broken down by gender and age. The results (printed in selected publications) offer moviegoers an early view of audience reactions for each film, enable film studios to tailor their positioning & advertising, and assist retailers with choosing movies to match customers' tastes.
Job description:
As a pollster, you will conduct exit surveys INSIDE selected movie theaters, two Friday evenings per month (possibly more). This simply entails handing each moviegoer a small (“POCKET SIZE") rating ballot as they enter, and collecting the ballots from the moviegoers at the end of the movie (NO PENCILS NEEDED!!). Results are then written out as number-codes (“scored”) and faxed to our head office. Most pollsters start around 6:30pm (depending on what time the film begins), and finish around 11:00pm on the average. Scoring takes up to approx. one hour after the film lets out (or less, if you have a pal with you to help out!).
HERE'S THE BEST PART:
Pollsters are always welcome (but NOT required) to watch the film for free in the process (films are all "opening-night" major Hollywood film-releases).
AND...YES, you may bring someone along to assist you (sorry...only you will be paid, but they are welcome to watch the film for FREE with you)!
Imagine keeping up with the latest films, while earning $$. If hired, you’ll be paid $60.00 per Friday/movie polled (plus watch the movie for free...and lets face it, movies are expensive today!), with the opportunity to possibly earn more as you gain experience. **
THIS IS NOT A TEMPORARY/STUDENT POSITION. We are looking for someone permanent! Teacher preferred, but NOT necessary; Retirees are welcome).
Requirements:
- MUST POSSESS A LOVE OF MOVIES (preferably including going OUT to see them)!!
- Must live in Kansas City, MO.
- Must be an honest and responsible adult, with a willingness to poll a minimum of 2 Friday evenings per month.
- If currently employed during the day, your schedule must allow arriving at the movie theater on time, one hour prior to the start of the movie.
- Must be outgoing (or at least assertive enough to approach movie-goers).
- Must have access to a fax machine in the evening to send results (if email is your preferred method of sending documents, Adobe software is required).
- If hired, we will train you...no related experience necessary.
A representative of CinemaScore will be in Kansas City (MO.) April 9th through the 11th to meet with 9 people individually by appt.. Initial phone calls will begin Monday, March 26th.
