Ok all, I need your opinion. We are in the market for a new car - actually used (probably 2006) and am wondering what the best time of year is to make this purchase. I haven't bought a car in about 6 years so am a little rusty on the entire process.

I'm not sure it will make a difference when buying used. My friend who works for Diamler-Crystler says to buy new cars in the fall for the most inscentives. :g_shrug: We are buying in the next month or so tho.

Thank you so much for posting this thread. It has really helped me out.
I'm hoping that I will make out pretty well. I will have the loan through the credit union and I will not have a trade-in. I will only have to negotiate the price of the car. Sort of feeling that I'm already ahead! ;)
