My husband and I are considering going to Sandiego, CA for a summer vacation.

Does anyone know of any good deals to fly/stay there? We would be flying from the east coast (Philly or NJ airports)

Also, what are some good things to do there?

My husband likes to serf, so I figure that he can do a lot of that there. Are there any surfing events in Sandiego coming up?

Also, when is the best time to go.

We have to decide by Thursday because my DH's employer is asking for intended vacation use now.
