I am looking to buy a new 25" or larger regular tube tv. I don't want to spend too much and don't have HD so don't want to spend the money for an LCD. Does anyone have any suggestions for some inexpensive ones at a B&M store that are at a great price? Does anyone know of any coupons that I could use to make any decent deal better?

Thanks!

Your best bet is a good used TV, like a Sony Trinitron 27". I have had one of these for a few years now and the picture quality is as good as my more expensive TVs. Look for it on Craig's List or ebay. You may get lucky and find a local seller.

I purchased a 27" Toshiba that I am very happy with.
It was recommended on consumer reports.
MSRP on Toshiba's site is $350.
Sears item #05747486000 Mfr. model #27DF46
Sears and BB were competitive for pricing when I did price comparisons.

DESCRIPTION:
Want to replace your current tube ( CRT) TV with a similar set but be ready for the digital television future? The Toshiba FST PUREŽ flat screen SDTV receives all digital television signals, using an internal ATSC digital tuner, and then converts those signals to standard definition ( 480i) (antenna may be required).
