Thank you for joining The Zandl Group Online Panel!
Hi Participant!
Thank you so much for joining our online panel! Your thoughts and interests are very important to us. We will be notifying you when we have new surveys in which you might be interested.
We will be contacting you through email. Please add us to your “safe list” or contact list so that these emails are not mistaken as spam.
Please note: We pay your compensation for surveys via PayPal. If there is a different email address that you prefer we use (connected to your PayPal account), let us know ASAP. We can only assign ONE email address per panelist. You can add an email address to your PayPal account (so that payment to either address goes to the same account) by going to “My Account,” and then to “Profile.”
If you have friends who might be interested in joining our online panel, they can email us at membership@<hidden> with their name, address, birth date, gender, ethnicity, and a few sentences about themselves, and we will contact them to complete their registration.
Let us know if you (or your parents, if applicable) have any questions.
You’ll be hearing from us again, soon!

jarerice 4-14-2007, 10:44 PM Thanks i signed up. I must have misses this one when you first posted it.
debwestmi 5-31-2007, 3:13 PM  Well here is what I got from them, so no $10 for me after doing a realllllllly long survey and gee they have removed me. Discrepancies? Anyone else have any ideas on this? There was a phone number listed that went ot a generic voice mail I left a message at and I sent them an email.
Just got an email back-they said there was a problem with a birthdate. I reviewed the survey as the link was still active and said Im might want to review some info so If I was removed how could that be? I went through the info and it is all correct so unless there was a typo in the email I sent to join. Obviously the info in the survey did not DQ me so why didnt they ask me to review my registration info to make sure it was corrrect?
Dear Participant,
We appreciate you taking the time to complete our survey. However, we are removing you from our panel and will not be compensating you either because there were discrepancies in your personal information in your survey or when you registered to join the panel.
Thank you for your understanding.
Sincerely,
jeninpa 5-31-2007, 3:48 PM To me it sounds like you answered (or they are saying you answered) a question during the survey that didn't match up with either your profile or maybe something they had had you fill out before. If there are discrepancies they may think you were trying to answer differently (lie) so that you would qualify for the survey. I don't blame you for being mad without a clear explanation. Maybe you accidently entered the wrong age or birthdate during the survey?

The weird thing is I saved the email that they sent me to do the survey and the link was still active with a message to recheck my answers. My birthdate and age were correct. If they removed me wouldnt that link be invalid now too? I think this one I registed via email so the only thing I can think is I had a typo in the age or birthdate if they asked for it.
cjs9473 5-31-2007, 4:38 PM I know that my 13-year-old daughter did a survey for the Zandl Group (they were looking for young people) - perhaps the survey was for a younger person.

I would hope that once I entered my age and bday they would have dqd me before I spent I think around 30 minutes doing it. :(
PS_thanks to the person who got my post moved to this thread.:D I tried positng it under here but got a message the thread was 47 days old and I could no longer reply-something to that effect.
kodis97 5-31-2007, 9:52 PM i got my first survey from them tuesday and it was like 10 minutes and got paid $10 today! :)

The same thing happened to me! I checked their website and the panel is for under 30-year-olds. I don't even know why I signed up with them since I passed 30 a looooong time ago.
Why did they even send me the survey? :gdangry3: I thought, while doing their survey, that I wasn't able to answer a lot of the questions, but I figured hey . . . if they want to pay me $10 for a whole lot of nothing, who am I to say no? Guess I'm not getting paid!

 I registered by email and I think all you had to send was your name, address and birthdate. Even if there was a typo there I checked my answers on the survey and my age/birthdate clearly indicated I was over 30 and they let me continue on for half an hour answering all these questions that like you some didnt seem to pertain to me. What a rip!

jbearcbear 6-26-2007, 10:58 AM Just took my first survey from them. It seemed to take forever (I'm sure it was less than an hour, but it seemed like eons). But it pays $10, supposedly in the next 2 days or so. I just signed up with them 2 days ago, via email. GL to anyone else who wants to try them, I hope they turn out to be a good one.
jbearcbear 6-26-2007, 3:50 PM Wow, here it is about 5 hours later and my $10 just popped into my PayPal account! Pretty sweet
