Adult Dyslexia Study
The Center for the Study of Learning (CSL), in Washington DC is looking for right handed, native English speaking adults who have been diagnosed as having dyslexia or a reading disorder to participate in a brain imaging (fMRI) study of dyslexia.
The Center for the Study of Learning is a National Institutes of Health (NIH) funded research center that studies children and adults with a range of developmental disorders. Our goal is to conduct research that will shed light on the causes and effects of learning disorders, so that better programs for diagnosis and treatment can be developed.
Our reading study involves nine hours of neuropsychological testing (reading, math, IQ tests, etc.) as well as a four hour brain imaging session. Participants will be compensated for their time at the rate of $20/hour of neuropsychological testing and $30/hour of fMRI imaging.
If you are interested in learning more about CSL’s adult dyslexia study please contact Eileen Napoliello at (202) 687-8265 or through E-mail at emn5@<hidden>.
