i got two from them today. Did both and i make it a habit of once a survey place sends me one and i complete it I double check my profile there. Well I couldnt log on and when I asked it to send my PW to me it says my email isnt in their database...They emailed e 2 surveys how wasnt it in there LOL I emailed their support wondering if anyone has had any issues w/ them before

I have had this happen with Myview. I get surveys from them but can't log into an account on their site because the surveys are directed through a third party (Volition). The surveys look like they are coming from Myview and my payments are from them, but my account is with Volition.

I love these guys I got my normal 10 one for doing 3 surveys then I also go two that pay 5 so I made 20 off them yesterday :)

Our new panel system will not require you to maintain your profile therefore eliminating the need for usernames and passwords. If and when you have an update to your profile (i.e. email address, mailing address, etc), please submit an email to panel@<hidden>.

The email I received said we would not be receiving a confirmation email, that once we signed up, we were members and would be receiving invitations according to our demographics.. I received my first survey a little bit ago..

I did the pre qualifying one and one short non paying survey after that and nothing more..It's strange how some will do fantastic on one survey site and you won't, but you do wonderful on another and then they don't..Strange how they pick..

i only get pre quals...they say payment will be sent to adddress I gave them at start of study(didnt give them an address at the start of a study) but i think thats messed up cause i doubt they pay for pre quals lol though would be nice

Their main corporate website carries a message saying that they are redesigning it and one should visit again on 9 July -- wonder if this has something to do with it. All I got was a page telling me that access was denied when I tried to log on at the normal location.

They send out the G.C's 4 weeks from the date of the completed survey.. I have never had any problems with them not replying..

Checked my email and had 4 GC's waiting for me. I still have a couple more to come.

Thank you for contacting the KRI. As of Nov-23-2007, all gift codes have been sent to qualified respondents. If you did not receive compensation for a survey, a variety of reasons could exist:

- Your SPAM filter has blocked our ability to send you the Gift Code (please check your spam folder)
- You mis-typed your e-mail address when you took the survey (in this case, your data was never recorded in the KRI database)
- You were not a registered member of the panel when you participated in the survey (violation of KRI policy)
- You participated in a survey in which you were not invited (violation of KRI policy)
- You joined the panel under more than one e-mail address (strict violation of KRI policy)

My experience has been that they send out a qualifying survey at the beginning of the month and then send the surveys out based on your responses. We hadn't heard anything since last summer from these guys, so perhaps you'll get the April qualifying survey, and then all you have to do is sit back and wait for the paying ones to come in. I'm believing we all hear from them again soon, and not have to wait 8 months! :yup:

If you are clicking the log in link from the home page that is for the companies that hire wRatings to do research not panelists. There is no log in for those of us on the panel. Please see post 107 for an explanation.

A search of the thread would have given you the answer to this question. You can search within a thread by using the "Search This Thread" feature at the top right hand side of the page,

I wasn't being nasty. I explained the situation and explained how to search within a thread so that you may find the answer to the questions you have. That prevents you from having to read the entire thread, the same questions being asked & answered dozens of times within a thread or your having to wait a day or more for an answer to your question. :)

I know it's only been 5 weeks since the studies closed, but I don't think we ever had to wait this long to get payments before.

No no, it's a standard procedure and Kanbay always has paid, all survey companies cross check all the results for anyone lying or false info..1,000's fill out these surveys, it's a very tedious time consuming process, not counting the work involved entering data to get everyones info in for a gift certificates..just our board alone, each one of us did 10 surveys..i look for them after memorial day..

I hope we all get paid today! It feels like I have been waiting forever for the GCs. LOL I was hoping to put it towards my husband's Fathers Day Gift. I believe I am waiting for $60. Good thing I have Prime shipping!

Today is 8 weeks so I emailed them. They must be getting discouraged with the emails because I got the same as Judithra did with an extra line at the end (but if you prefer, we can remove your name from future participation). :eek:

Not very often as you can tell by scrolling back thru the threads, used to get them pretty often in the beginning, but now it is usually a mass of surveys like the ones we just did..once or twice a year at the most..at least for me, but i'm not complaining, I rather have it like they are doing in a mass, getting a large sum of G.C's ...

I also got the same response. I emailed her back,and told her what I thought about that. That maybe these should be considered sweeps since they are not guaranteeing pymt. AND they should DQ if their answers are not what they are looking for, since it's a waste of both our time! AND a good faith pymt. should be made. :mad: Makes me angry, these are the first w/ this Co. for me...not a good taste in my mouth now...:fluffy::yuck:

On another board we listed which ones we didnt get paid for and ALOT/MOST were for the same ones:mad:...looks like they used the data they collected and didnt give the payment for it--I for one won't be offering my opinions to them anymore:yuck:

Yes...isn't that why they do they survey? To get info, so if they pick and choose what info they can use/want to use and then not pay us...isn't that unfair practices? Haven't had time to report them, but has anyone that you've seen?

I'm not sure you can say they were unfair--after all, without knowing WHY they dq'd you, you can't know. Everything is run through computers--there may be an inconsistency in your answers which made the computer spit your study into the trash. They won't tell you what the problem is--revealing it could compromise the research.

Many of us did get paid for all the studies, though.
(I just looked,and they aren't listed on Survey Police--that's likely a good thing, I think)

Kanbay is a legit company..Im not sure that everyone is aware of how our survey answers are judged..The biggest majority are also "timed" to see just how much thoughtful time you spend in answering the questions. They check for consistency. so many things go into checking and judging your answers.. As she stated, the biggest majority of all of us were paid and even tho I wasnt paid for one of my nine, I wasnt upset or felt like they were cheating me.. I have done surveys for Kanbay many times as alot of us have and it is a good company and I look forward to their surveys.. Bad mouthing a legit company before doing research can not only ruin it for future surveys, but for all of us.. Doing surveys is not about how quickly I can skim thru them to hurry up and get paid ( all of us are doing this to get paid) and yes, some are very tedious and repetitive, and you think they are never going to end, the objective is to take your time and give thoughtful, honest opinions and hopefully we will be paid for this..

Very well put!!!!! This is it!!!! Kanbay is a great company. And if you don't want to do their surveys anymore, then don't.

But do not ruin their name or our chances to get surveys from them!

I agree with Jarerice. The surveys that we did were very short for the amount they paid. I was able to do them during my lunch hour and made $30 in Amazon (that is a lot more I get paid per hour at my job!) I did six surveys and answered each one thoughtfully like they asked and was paid for each one. I was very appreciative to get the payment.

I agree with you guys too, I can't even imagine complaining about this company, they pay very well for the amount of time spent on the surveys. Much better than so many of the other companies that pay $1 for 15 or 20 minutes worth, and then there are all of the companies that you are just entered into the drawings. For me this company is one of the best and I welcome any of their surveys.

ok... gotta add my 2 cents here too....i absolutely agree with judith, jaime and the other two posters...although i dont have much to add to what they have already posted, i think they did a fine job of expressing how the majority of us feel about this company. :):)
