Interface Analysis Associates (a Bay Area, CA consulting firm) is assisting a large cell phone maker in designing a more usable cell phone for persons aged 50 and older, for the US and Western European markets. Towards this effort we have developed an on-line survey for the purposes of obtaining direct input and feedback from targeted users of this to-be-designed phone.

This is not a sales pitch! We are not the company that manufactures or sells the product in question - rather we are helping them to make a more learnable, usable and personable cell phone for this specific audience. The survey does not collect any personal contact information from you.

We firmly believe that different age groups, and perhaps different types of persons within an age group, would benefit from a unique approach to the design of our now ubiquitous cell phones. Your input will help us to determine which features and functions are most important to this demographic, and how they can be best designed and manipulated by the user.

The survey can be access through the following web site link:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=674893215820

We hope you can take a few minutes out of your day to provide us information that will help us design the world's most useful and usable cell phone for persons 50 years of age and older. Or, if you are not 50 or over, I hope you will forward this to those you know who are.

Thank you in advance!
