I'm looking for a gas stove, must be self cleaning. 700.00 or lower. I want a good name brand that will last. I've looked at Sears and they have some nice ones. But I dont know what to buy. Or if I can find cheaper somewhere else. what is a good name brand? model? price? etc.

Look at Consumer Reports. We followed their recommendations for electric stoves and were not disappointed.
