Is anyone else having trouble logging into this site. I was going to cash out the other day but thought I would wait until my other survey was credited. I went to see if it was and now I cannot log in at all. Sent them an email but have received no reply.

I was doing some research and apparently it is not just me but it is them. Others have complained about not being able to log in to there site and also never getting paid for surveys they completed. If I remember correctly I am at around 20.00 in my account but I cannot log in to request it. I have tried to contact them and have received no response.

OK I just got off the phone with them. They finally got me thru it and said it is on there end as they are changing things. I had to reset my password a couple times with the guy but we got it fixed.

As far as problems getting paid, I will wait and see. I am still waiting to request my check until my recent surveys are credited it.

Anybody receive payments from them or know of a problem?

I believe they added some questions to each quetionnaire that you must now redo them to update them.

I have received one check for 12.00 from them and now waiting on one for 25.00. :)

After thought: I have never known Mindfield to randomly solicit members. If you want to make Certain it is not an invitation from a phishing site you can click on the link in my sticky and join that way. In fact, I really would recommend that. Something does not sit well with me about them randomly soliciting members.

I joined Mindfield about a month ago but have never been able to login. I received an activation email shortly after registering and clicked on the link, but when I try to login it doesn't let me. I even tried signing up again but it said that the email address already has an account. I've emailed them numerous times asking for my login/password but have never heard a response. :(

They redid some things a little bit ago and I had the same trouble. I called them on the phone and they helped me thru it right away. If you can talk on the phone and be on the comp. at the same time they take you thru until you get logged in. Good luck

I have been with these guys for over two years. I have received many, many products to test. They don't pay for most of them. My account has been at 8.00 for about 8 months now. I have been waiting for them to credit my account with a lousy two bucks for weeks! I just want to finally cash out. Mindfield can be exceptionally slow at crediting your account. You have to pay close attention. Sometimes they won't credit you unless you remind them via email. They won't respond to those emails. Eventually, you will just get your money. Checked in last night to see if they finally gave me 2.00 and WOOO I had 35.00 in there!!! Looks like I forgot to record a survey! Yippeee!!

Yes. It is a huge PITA. Doing them only increasing the number of survey invite you receive.
I strongly recommend doing all of them. You don't have to do them all in one day.

I don't trust MindField right now. I still haven't been credited for any surveys that I've completed. Perhaps they take a while, but I'm getting antsy. Also, I once completed a $5 survey and at the end it only awarded me an entry into sweepstakes!!! I emailed them about 6 weeks ago and I still haven't heard anything back. :gdparanoid: I really don't think I'm going to do any more surveys for them until I start getting paid for the ones I have completed because I don't want to waste my time.

EDIT: Oops, that $5 survey was actually from GREENfield, not MindField. But my other complaint still stands.

I did the survey for it on the 2nd and then they offered me another tester which of course I took and did that survey on the 22nd of Feb and they have still yet to credit my account because they said it was still open :( How long do they leave them open for...........not forever I hope I have 7 in there at the moment should be getting 3 anyday and due 15 from the testers so i wanna cash it out all at once if I can

oh darn well that stinks might turn out to be the same with mine. The letters that came with the products said I would get a check in 6 wks then when I contacted them said it had to credit to my account then I could cash it out.......that wasnt the way that I first read it so I have a feeling I won't be seeing that one either. I am waiting on $3 to credit from another then I won't do anymore with them till I get the other 15 they owe me

It looks pretty much like cheating to me. I wrote them email with my thoughts about it, but I am almost sure there will be no response. They responded to my email - that was fast! At least I feel better now about the company.
It looks like they pay only to those who qualify for in-home product test. I wish they would state it either on the survey invitation or DNQ window. Anyway, I think they have to improve their screening process, so one doesn’t have to fill in the whole survey to be disqualified.

I think you get payment for the initial survey and then you get to keep the product and that's the end of it. So far, I have been pleased with that arrangement as I have received many great products. The parfume samples I wasn't too crazy about but I am also very weird about scents. I don't seem to smell them the way other people do. When I lived in Minnesota women used to come into my store wearing this one particular scent. This was in a very high rent district, not women inclined to wear the cheap stuff. It was very popular. I smelled it all the time. That must mean it smells good to a lot of people, right? To me, it smelled(s) like a Greyhound Bus. *shrug* See what I mean when I say I am am weird about scents?

IMO Mindfield is by far the slowest to credit your account. I have had it take close to 6 months already. I have personally quit taking surveys for them. But again it is strictly my opinion

At least I know it's not just me. I sent them an email, because in the survey invitations it says you will be credited within 5-7 days. I don't mind waiting if I know going in to it its going to be awhile. I am in the middle of a product test with them right now, and so far I like their company. I seem to be in the right demographic for them. The reality though is I cant waste my time if I am not going to be paid. Hopefully they just take awhile. I am keeping my fingers crossed.;)

Anyone know how long it takes to receive a check via snail mail once cashed out? I know they say it will take so long, but whats the "real" waiting time?

This company is starting to frustrate me. I have not received an email back from them at all. I made sure to include each survey number that I completed in the email so that the could check their records. The product test that I was doing for them was a 2 part thing. I have completed the first part over a week ago and was told I would receive the next part within the next couple of days. I have not received the second part or gotten paid for the first part.:( How long should I wait for this whole thing to get cleared up before resending my email?

I have not received the product testing (also was 2-Part) that was confirmed I supposedly received yesterday. Im hoping that my neighbors (there are several around me) did not take the products.

I got an email yesterday from them about a long survey that paid $10 (#4344). I completed the survey - it took over 30 minutes - and after thanking me for completing the survey and taking my personal information "so a check can be sent" I got a screen that said I didn't qualify but I'd be entered into a drawing. I sent them an email, but haven't heard back from them yet. Anyone else complete this survey?

They take forever to credit you I have noticed. I was keeping the completed survey emails in a folder to delete when I was credited but since you don`t know what you are credited it was a waste of time. I think there is still some I have not been credited for. I need another $1 and I am quitting this one I think. :( And I have emailed as well with no response from them.

Count me as one of the "frustrated" panelists of Mindfield.
I received a study invitation from Mindfield yesterday. I began it and answered at least twenty questions relating to the concept at hand (lotions) including multiple essays. Upon clicking "Next" on the last screen for the fourth lotion concept - more than fifteen minutes after I began taking the study - I was taken to the disqualified screen as the result of my segment's quota already being filled. I emailed Mindfield support regarding my experience and was informed that for that fifteen minute period I "was actually [completing] a screen portion of a product test study" and NOT an actual paying survey. When I replied inquiring on the reasonableness of asking panelists to take a good portion of their time answering questions involving detailed responses for no compensation to speak of, I received the following remark:

"The screeners and studies are specifically designed and rigorously tested via our clients. As mentioned you must qualify and complete all parts of a study to be credited for your time, which is also mentioned in our policy and faq page as well as in every survey invitation that we send you. I am sorry if this does not fancy you and please remember that there is no obligation to take any of our surveys."

I am now debating on cashing out - I have only earned $5 from Mindfield so far in 2009 and $5 remains the minimum amount in order to receive a check - and closing my account. Besides this latest episode, I rarely qualify for any of the studies sent to me by Mindfield. Perhaps it is time to formally close the door on this relationship?
