I am looking for an mp3 player for my husband for Christmas. I tried to get him a creative zen nano, but the deal wouldn't work (it was in online hot deals). Now I am torn because I see they have these deals on refurbished ipods. I liked the creative zen nano because-A. it was inexpensive and 2. he could listen to the radio on it as well. I don't think you can listen to the radio on Ipods and I think he would like the radio to listen to football games:rolleyes: .
Any suggestions???? I was thinking around $100 or less............

I don't know if you tried to get the one on Buy.com I just came home @<hidden> 5:30 and was able to purchase 2 of them, 1 red & 1 white. You may want to check again and see if you like that one. Great price for $10.00

Ipod also has free shipping on orders over 50. You are correct though you cannot listen to the radio on an ipod. I bought my daughter a nano today for 95.01 shipped. I wanted to wait and get her the 2 gb but I kept missing out on it and honestly she won't put more than 250 songs in it anyway.

Don't know if you found one yet, but if you're talking about the $10 Zen Nano, be careful as I don't believe it has an FM tuner, so no radio reception. It's a great mp3 though, I have the 1GB.

There's a great deal on the 2G Sandisk c250 (also on HotDeals).
Buy.com has it for ~$71 after Google discount, with free s/h. Besides the big memory, it has radio, voice recording, and much nicer screen. Also says it has an expandable slot for even more space. I'd get one if I didn't already have one. (hope link works..):)

thanks for your help everyone! I keep missing the creative zen nano.....when it was available it would keep saying error processing your request. Pgrunner...thanks for the input and I did see that sandisk one and I am thinking about getting him that one, but still unsure because Im torn between that and an Ipod because if I get a refurbished Ipod I could get a really good deal and I know he likes my Ipod and the sandisk one kind of confuses me. It says it supports some realmusic program for downloads. I would hope it would let you put music from any program on it??? Ahhh, decisions decisions!!!:blush:
