I received a free webcam from these guys and have an interview set up tomorrow. Has anyone dealt with them. I know True Panel also send out webcams. I did a search for Verus Live on the message board and didn't see any posts.

Yes! I've actually done a couple for them and you are right...they are the same company! LOL Anyway, the interviews went well, they are very easy and are just looking for your honest opinions. They pay promptly, too, so there's no worries about that. I'm hoping to get in on another one sometime soon. Good luck! :fluffy:

Mine really wanted to know a TON about myspace and how much I was supposed to like it. It seemed like they were phishing for something specific.

I got to keep the camera and fee for doing the interview.

Just put it in a box, they may want to use you again. Yes, I was given a fee above the camera.

I'm afraid I might cause harm to anyone seeing my old face on a live cam:shock: LOL

Both of my interviews went well and I didn't feel they were phishing for info or anything like that. I felt they were trying to get me to talk more so they could get more out of the web cam, but that was it. The first time, I was sent a check for $20 a couple weeks afterwards. That was a surprise to me as I was just expecting to receive the camera and that was it. The second time, I was supposed to get $10 and it didn't come nearly as quick so I emailed them and they apologized and sent it right out and I had it within a week (I was last minute add-in to the survey as they had a cancellation so I suppose I somehow fell through the cracks of payment!!).

Anyway, I still have the camera hooked up. My two teenage daughters like to take goofy pictures of their expressions and we just laugh...although the youngest of the two has been known to aim the camera at us, take some random videos, and then burst out laughing after we've done something stupid!! I also like keeping the camera plugged in because they use the headset to listen to music and those of us who aren't on the computer can still watch TV in the same room!

My interview was great. John was very personable and listened to my rambling. We had a really good rapport and he told me I did a great job on the interview (I wonder if they tell everyone that.) I'm quite the talker. I hope they contact me again. It was great fun.

I just got selected for one of these. I do it next Tuesday. I am excited about it. I already have a cam so they increased the payment for me since they don't have to send one. :) Thank you OP for the post! :)

I have an interview next tuesday as well. They are sending my webcam out today in the mail.
