Britax roundabout (the BEST you can buy) for 220...from babyage...or target...

seriously...it is the BEST...many neat features (some you won't appreciate if you're not a parent)

the straps are held to the side with velcro when you take the little one out

the adjustment for the straps is a push button near the crotch area (out of reach of baby), so it's easy for you to get at when rear or front facing (most have a pull strap)

COMFY

buckles snap together nicely

clips to attach it to the LATCH system ROCK...you press them straight onto the latch connectors and it locks...rather than having to try to hook it around and make it clip like most...also, push button release for those

expensive, but WELL worth it (of course, if you can't afford it, then not much you can do...but it IS a nice seat)

how much were you looking to spend? Graco makes a decent one too

Both of my kids have been very happy with the evenflo triumph. Comfy for the kids easy for the parents, can't ask for more then that. As a matter of fact I just last week moved my daughter up to a booster seat(she'll be 5 in 2 wks, but still fit within the limits of the seat), she had been in her triumph since she outgrew her infant seat.

Roundabout isn't the best anymore. At least, not IMO. Spend the extra $20, and get the Marathon. All the benefits of the Roundabout, plus, the harness goes to 65lbs. My 4 1/2 year old still fits fine in his Marathon, and will for about another year or so.

Excellent idea...I didn't know about the marathon. Does it have the same Latch system as the roundabout? (that's one of it's BEST features IMO)
