Help, can somebody who understands the whole Dance Dance Revolution for Playstation 2 help me with what to buy. 10 year old girl, I want something that plays on the Playstation 2 that she can dance with.

I don't understand the mat (although I saw it at TRU yesterday). It says for use with PS2 Dance games. Just a heads up, at my TRU is was on sale. I forget the price, but I remember thinking if my daughter had one (my son does and god forbid she touches it) that I would have grabbed it.

Macy's had one on Black Friday I think it was 29.99

Be sure to get her the dance pad in addition to the game. Sometimes they come as a bundle. But buying the PS2 game by itself would not be good. Gotta have the pad. Preferably two, because you can "duel" against a friend. Much fun for a slumber party or play date. I got our pads on ebay for cheap, 2 years ago.

Keep in mind too that there are a number of DDR PS2 games out there--for example, we have the Disney one. It's a hoot. You dance with Donald, Mickey, etc. Britney Spears has one too, I think, though maybe it's a little too sexy for a 10-year-old!
