I need some advice AND direction.

I do not know that much about digital cameras. I got my mom a Kodak C633 6MP 3x Zoom camera. I do not know what type of SD to buy for it...and where is the cheapest. This is just your basic point and shoot. The SD can be wal-mart brand for all I care...I just don't know the specifications for the SD. Are SD's universal?

Thanks for your help.

SD cards are indeed universal. As long as it says SD you are fine. The main thing is the capacity size. The higher the number, the more pictures it will hold. ex. 256 mb/512mb/1G/2G. They do not have to be any particular brand. (Kodak does not make theirs, just a FYI).

I forgot, be sure to check your local Walmart and see if there are any of the ones from BF left. 1G for $13.47. They normally start at $40 for that capacity size.
We have about 100 left over at our store, and we had a lot left last year also. So I am assuming that most stores still have some left.

You might want to check out Sam's Club too. They had High Speed SD cards for around $40.00.
