We aren't looking for LCD or anything fancy. We need a regular 27" Tube television for our extra family room. Don't want to spend a bunch. We figured we were looking at $200-$250. Anything cheaper would be great. Not sure if any tv sales are going on. Seems all the stores are selling the plasma/fancy tvs. Not ready to spend the big bucks right now. Just need a replacement for the entertainment center.

Is Magnavox a good brand and reliable? We have a Toshiba now and it has lasted YEARS. First time we had a problem.

Well, I went to Circuit City today and purchased the magnavox 27" tv. Its a flat screen and the sound and picture are amazing! I love it. In and out of there quickly. Salesman was great and they loaded in within minutes!
