I was looking for a good deal on a good memory card for a canon SD600 digital camera. I prefer a good brand. I seen a pretty good deal on a sandisk, but after reading the reviews I decided against purchasing that card. If anyone knows where I can find one please let me know. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately the deals aren't a good as they were Friday (I got a 1G for $2.99) but here is a link to some of the sales: http://salescircular.com/va/computer/flashp.shtml

You can get a 2GB SD flash memory for $14.99 after $35 rebate.

Hopefully this 2GB card comes back in stock at Buy.com:

http://www.buy.com/prod/Kingston_2GB_Secure_Digital_Card_SD/q/loc/58207/202743332.html

Would be $15 after $5 rebate and $10 Google Checkout discount. Could very well come back in stock tomorrow.

I can't find this on Microcenters website. Is it still there?

I am not sure, but I found a really good deal on a 1 gb ultra card someone listed on a thread. It is at tigerdirect.com . It's regularly 44.99, but after a forty dollar rebate it comes out to 4.99.

Office Max has a Lexar for $19.98 or a SIMPLETECH for $13.98. Not sure if these are good brands or not? The savings are instant (no rebates) and shipping came up as free.

I can't post the link; just did a search for SD memory card on their site.

IMHO, Lexar is on par with Sandisk, Verbatim, and PNY.

Simpletech is a step between the "no-names" and the Lexar, Sandisk, Verbatim and PNY cards.

But, that's just my personal opinion, and I really have no real reason as to "why". http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Hmmm/Idea2.gif

Wal-Mart has the 1GB SD card for $13.87. We bought 3 on Black Friday, and our Wal-Mart still has them for that price. The good thing about Wal-Mart is that you don't have to fool around with rebates, etc.

Buy.com has the 2GB Kingston SD card for $13.86 after 2 rebates & $20 off Google Checkout. Expires today though - 12/2/06!

Note : Remember to send both rebates in the same envelope since both require the original upc.

If you're still looking for SD media.

CC has SanDisk 1GB SD for $14.99 (http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/productDetail.do?oid=109289) after $10 rebate.
