I need a bookshelf for my 3 year olds room. Max size about 3 foot by 3 foot. I've seen them around but they are all too expensive. Anyone seen a steal on these?

Do you need real wood? I seen the fake wood ones (for lack of a better name) at shopko on clearance for 7.99, not sure on the size though but something to check into - maybe call and see if they have them and what size it is.

Did you try your local thrift store? A few weeks ago, I found an absolutely beautiful children's book shelf at the thrift store (all wood) for about $10.

Man, that bookcase is perfect, plus the garage thing they have is just what I've been looking for. Now I'll have to see if I can talk the inlaws into going there before they come down for thanksgiving. The closest one to us is an hour away, but they have two fairly close to them. :D
