Like the discounts on Crafstman tools...

Question - What doe sthe 'early bird" note mean?

Those items are only available at those prices from 5-11am on Black Friday.

I think they are usually the sales that end early in the day. Most stores seems to end early bird sale sometime between 10am-12. After that the items are no longer sold for the sale price.

I've seen leftover t.v.s from BF at Wal-Mart that was still selling for the blitz price a week or more later.

I've seen the same thing. My 52" HD Widescreen from two years ago was on sale a few days after blitz and it was supposed to be a blitz item.
