Earning:

The site boasts that each emailed survey will be worth 100 bux.

You can participate in surveys on the web site immediately after confirming your account, where you can earn 1-10 bux per survey. The surveys range from 3 minutes to 20 minutes. Some are just trivia types of games, and are pretty fun :)


Redemption:

You can enter sweeps and stuff on the site, but the best bet seems to be signing up for a free Points.com account (if you don't already have one), and transferring your Hotspex bux for gift cards on the site.

I just looked it up and a $10 Amazon.com GC from Points.com using Hotspex bux will cost a 1,388 bux.

I was with these guys for a long time. Back when the only thing you could do with your X's (now Bux) was enter contests. I entered over 500,000. in just 1 drawing and still lost. I gave up after that

i just signed up. it looks like your can now trade them for amazon.com gc. but it take 1300 or so for 10.00 and it's through points.com.

I just signed up for this one. I like the surveys - they are interesting and not at all like other surveys!!!
The points thing doesn't bug me. It gives a LOT of options for getting prizes and 'payments'.

ive been with hotspex for a little while..probably september of 07, i have 735 bux. i have entered the jackpot drawing once. I dont really do the surveys on the front page..they are usually only 1 bux...if you just sit there doing them all i guess it could add up but i dont do it.

I've been w/ them a while...I only do them when they send me an invite, I like them, they are fun! I've been saving my bux, not sure what I'm up to now....should check but I always forget! Oh well, just bankin' the stash for a rainy day....oh wait...this is washington state! Haha

ok, so after reading good reviews and then giving my own, i decieded to go see how many "fun surveys" (from the home page) i could stand to do i one sitting. I did one 1 for 1 bux, then did another for 1 bux. Now usually after the survey i choose "add to my account" and then instead of choosing "do another survey" i close the window and go back to the homepage and choose another. Well after the second one i decieded to choose "do another survey" this one wasnt a "fun survey" it ended up being for 50 bux plus a wheel spin (which i only got 1 bux) after this survey i choose "do another survey, this time i got one for 200 bux and a spin-which i got 10 bux. I always thought that by choosing "do another survey" it would just go through all the "fun surveys". Well needless to say after the 200 survey it said there were no more surveys for me to do. There were still 3 more "fun surveys" on the homepage..i completed those so now i officially have no surveys. Im excited though! I was at 735 now im at 1007- close for a amazon gc!

I just did this as well after taking a hiatus from Hotspex. I only need 70 more points for a $10 Amazon GC :)
