Hi All,

I have 4 Pizza Hut Book It Certificates. They are each good for 1 Personal Pan Pizza. On the certificate it says that the child must be present when picking up the pizzas (if not dining in). Does anyone know how strict Pizza Hut is about this? I'd like to go in and get all 4 personal pan pizzas and bring them home on my way home some night (would mean no kids) but I'm afraid they won't give them to me.

If anyone has any info on this I'd be grateful!
Michelle

It does depend on your Pizza Hut. Ours never had an issue. We did get several of them at once. We also were able to get them after the expiration date. It seemed to me that they just thought it was a great reward and wanted to give it to the kids however you would take them.

Ours isn't strict, either. Wednesday nights are all you can eat buffets and they let us use the book it cert for a free child's buffet.

Ours is strict, we can only use 1 certificate per child, it has to be the pepperoni pizza, and they have to be with us.

Ours is not strict at all. Just call them, tell them what you want to do and see what they say. If they say no just load your kids in the car and let them count heads when you go through the drive through, lol. :)

Depends on the pizza hut.
The coupons also say that they need to be turned in within a month, but I know a mom who saves hers up and gets something like 20 free pizzas in May, doesn't buy anything else, and packs them in her car in a cooler to take home and put in the freezer.
Even i'm not that cheap. Yet.

i never thought of trying them even after the exp. date. I've thrown so many out because we rarely go to Pizza Hut.:(

Our pizza hut is strict on that the child must be with you. My DD was sick and had a fever and wanted to redeem her Book It and we figured that DH could get it on his way home from work. Well needless to say, they wouldn't do it. They insisted that she had to be with him. I ended up giving them an ear full about disappointing a sick child and wanting me to bring her out sick.

Our is not strict at all. We have used them for take-out orders and we have also used two (one for DD who earned it and the other for my 2 year old) and they didn't say anything about my other child redeeming it. We too have used ours after they were expired.

The pizza huts in my are aren't strict either. I used to be a teacher, and know that many of my kids would save theirs and use them past their expiration date. Parents would take the certificates, and swing by pizza hut and bring their child a pan pizza for lunch at school as well.

I have never had a problem getting it to go without the kid--but then I was never doing more than one and i was always buying a pizza at the same time. That probably made it a little easier.

It depends on the pizza hut that you go too
