No boring cards please (stores, gas stations, etc.)! Thank you! mrn8 10-2-2006, 12:11 PM Well, a lot depends on their taste, ages, etc... Some good places for GC would be iTunes, Amazon.com, Pier 1, IKEA, or a fun restaurant (Buffalo Wild Wings or good local place). SuperMommy 10-2-2006, 1:46 PM Spa gift cards for the ladies! Maybe for a family you could get a GC to a hotel chain or an amusement park? able 10-2-2006, 10:25 PM maid service??? a night on the town? ? hair salon?? cant be to creative on picking the card...but can be very creative on how you give it /wrap it/ ect. cactusmom 10-2-2006, 10:53 PM oh I absolutely love the idea of a gift certificate for the maid service. shopping mom 10-6-2006, 12:02 AM Lots of choice on gift card sites. A child might like legos.com, a race fan Nascar.com I even found one for scuba diving. pogiporkchop 10-9-2006, 5:56 PM There's so many different designs now too, more with the holidays coming. copados1993 10-12-2006, 5:47 AM I LOVE the maid idea. Theres always a pound of coffee (Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks) with a GC taped to it. Magazine subscription gift certificate, car wash, Peapod (where you can order you groceries on line and then they are delivered right to your door) Good Luck jellybean051901 10-17-2006, 4:18 AM dinner and a movie, or a massage that includes a meal elena_398 10-17-2006, 11:02 AM Personally, I don't find Gas cards boring at all. I would LOVE one. bugsette 10-17-2006, 5:48 PM like the gas card, maid service, grocery store dpape 10-18-2006, 8:23 AM membership to local zoo or other local attaction. The whole family can use it and they can go as often as they want. Our most favorite gift was a set of dinner cards with movie ticket gift certificates. We've even given the movie ones before and they are always a big hit! civicracinggirl7 10-19-2006, 11:26 PM Movie tickets!! Our most favorite gift was a set of dinner cards with movie ticket gift certificates. We've even given the movie ones before and they are always a big hit! + babysitting while they're at the movie/dinner if they have children RossMAN 10-20-2006, 12:48 AM This depends on a lot of factors such as who is the GC for, your budget, what do they need, what do they want? How about Sharper Image? They have some pretty cool products for around $50. whitesocks 10-21-2006, 3:23 PM I like putting them in a container relating to the subject of the GC. Like popcorn box with movie tickets in them. Happy Meal box with McD GC in them. |
