Any ideas where I can find the cheapest motorized treadmill? My stepmom is on oxygen and I guess they think it will help her lungs to excercise so much a day and they recommended a treadmill. Thanks!

Check out Goodwill or Salvation Army. :yup:

I think the cheapest motorized one's start in the $300-$400 range at Dick's Sporting Goods or Sears.

Or Wal-Mart, K-Mart, etc.:

This one is around $350 with shipping but I was hoping to find her something cheaper, lol. She just spent $230 on a Pulse Oximeter and now this on top of building a house. My dad works and she gets disability so they don't have that much money and once the house payments start probably no money!

I bought one from Wal-mart for my in-laws. After a few months it wasn't working right so after talking with their support and it still not working right Wal-Mart let me bring it back for a refund. I went to Sears and bought their low end one and it's worked for over a year. I didn't feel that they needed one with all the bells and whistles so it fits them just fine.

You could buy a bunch of soda for yourself at Target and then use a bunch of gift cards on a treadmill.

PennySaver and yard sales - there's tons of people that meant to excerise and run out and buy a treadmill that turns into an expensive clothes hanger :P

I just bought one through the local internet want ads for $120.00, it's in great shape. It's about 3 yrs old. Unless you or a family member is going to be truly dedicated to it I wouldn't go spend hundreds of $.

Good luck!

Sears used to offer 10% off for new Sears credit card customers, I wonder if they still offer that?
