Okay, so here's the deal. Target puts out these web coupons (http://sites.target.com/site/en/supertarget/page.jsp?title=supertarget_coupons_specials_main&ref=nav2_footer_coupons) every couple of weeks that you can print them and use them. But what if you don't want to print all of the coupons - or you need several of one coupon? This coupon generator makes it easy to just print the ones you want. Also, the coupon generator has the current posted coupons, and past posted coupons. They take the coupons down before they expire, so if you want to print last weeks' coupons, you will have to use this generator.

Now, some hints about using these coupons:
1. You can usually use expired coupons - the Target system will not reject them - it is simply a matter of whether or not your cashier rejects it.
2. The coupons say SuperTarget, but they work at Target or SuperTarget.

Sorry! That seems to happen at some Targets. On the other board, many people have fought with the managers and called customer service right there in front of the manager. They usually win and customer service will make them honor the coupons, but it is a lot of hassle to go to, and they make the manager mad at them so that they are less able to do stuff in the future. So, in my opinion, it is easier to just not argue - and maybe try a different Target next time. Here is my best advice for getting the most out of the coupons:
First, look for a cashier that seems young and inexperienced, or male (this isn't foolproof, but in mine and other people's experience, they tend to be less strict on the coupons).
Second, chat up the cashier while he or she is checking your items - be really friendly! I have found that when I'm in a good mood and get them talking about their life, they really don't want to question any of my coupons. (Of course, as you can tell from my long-winded posts, I'm a talker - so they probably just want to get rid of me! ;) )

The thing is, with the exception of expired coupons, they are supposed to take these! For some reason, though, some managers just really don't like the internet coupons and try to make it really difficult to use them (perhaps someone who works at Target can clarify this - but I think it may have something to do with decreasing their revenue or something). You are certainly within your rights to insist and call customer service - but most of us don't want to make a scene, and they know that and use it to their advantage. However, the majority of people have no problem using these coupons. I use them to save an average of about $40 off my weekly grocery bill! Cinnamonhuskies - I'm sorry you got a mean manager!:(

Technically -one coupon per purchase means one coupon per item, not one coupon per sale, that you can't use several of the same coupons on 1 item, your sale is a bunch of seperate purchases combined. In reality some cashiers have nothing better to do than try to get you to not use your coupons.

If the only reason that I am buying something is because I have a coupon for it and they don't take the coupon then I make them return it. Let them have people waiting in line because they have to find & take things back out of the bag and scan them again to take them off the bill.

Don't let cashiers intimidate you or make you feel guilty for holding up a line & I agree, find a younger one or a male or one that you have used before that takes your coupons, make mental notes of ones that don't.

I would send Target an email and tell them that you were buying 4 boxes of cereal and had 4 coupons and ask them if they allow it and if you can use your coupons at a regular Target.

I was able to get 10 of the Downey Simple Pleasures before this expired, combined with the tide and downey manufacture coupons this was an outstanding deal! I am well stocked up and these fragrances are wonderful!

To get around the expired coupons.......couldn't you "accidentally" miscut the coupon so that the expiration date is chopped off the top? :D ;)

your welcome yes mine was 1.44 to priced differently than the weekly ad cheaper is always better i also found an old el paso coupon online for any item 1.00 off of two and the beans were .87 cents and the taco seasoning was .67 cents so they came out pretty cheap when i called old el paso to see when the cans expire so i could stock up on them they said they are good for two years those are great for taco night :sombrero:

They all will scan but It really depends on the cashier if he/she will take them.

FYI .. my Target currently has the Laughing Cow cheese marked down to $2.29 a wheel. It's a great deal with the $1.00 off coupon that's up there now (exp 2/3). I only had on mfg coupon, but that saved me another $1.00

As someone pointed out on the Target Perimeter thread ... the Archer chips coupon does specify a size and the coupon is $1.00 off. The snack size bags are 99 cents .. so that's another freebie!

I used 8 at one time, cashier did not bat an eye and handed me my bag with a smile.

Does anyone know how to print several coupons on one page? Say I want 2 coupons of 5 different things, can you get them all to print on one piece of paper? I had the same problem, too. Just go into the Perimiter perusing at Target (march) and go to page 7. Someone posted the links there and they worked for me. Go figure.

I never had a problem using any of my coupons, but once. I always try to make sure to go to a teenager. They usually don't care what they ring up.

The coke scanned in, but its like the chips coupon, they had to cover the second half of the bar code. The first bar code is the part that is scannable... dont ask me why they do that. But the cashier should know how to do it, mine always use the hand scanner

Yes there was a free coupon on the target website.It expired on the 3rd i think.It was the free $2.00 bars but could be used on other choxie stuff for a $2.00 savings.

I used some of the expired target coupons at Walmart today. I "accidentally" clipped the expiration date. Got some great deals on Hi-C, Capri Suns, Motts Apple Juice and Chunky Soup!

Same here. I got four of the bars and gave them out to my friends and kids. I don't think any of them were completely eaten. I have three teenagers and if they wouldn't eat chocolate that must tell you something.

I agree with most of the flavors but the choc with the peanuts was TO DIE FOR and the choc with coconut was even better.

Went ta regular Target tonightand used 4 Little Debbie Swiss Roll coupons. Cashier wasn't going to allow them because they said Super Target on them.Then my 6 year old step son said he loves swiss rolls, so she takes them and scans them then says to me that they are not for regular Targets. Guess I'll have to bring the kid every time.:yup:

The coke scanned in, but its like the chips coupon, they had to cover the second half of the bar code. The first bar code is the part that is scannable... dont ask me why they do that. But the cashier should know how to do it, mine always use the hand scanner

What part do you consider the first part of the coupon, in order to cover second half. (the pepsi I'm looking at has 6 dashes ...) I always encounter even current coupons having trouble getting scanned.

On some of the coupons, there isnt one full bar code. Some have a bit of a space, there is a barcode and then a tiny space and then another barcode. Those they need to cover the second barcode. At least mine do. Unless its my printer

Most coupons have 2 sets of barcodes now and stores only scan one half or the other, a lot of stores have to cover one set of them.

The Target ad says that Archer Farms products are 15% off this week, might be some good deals with any Archer Farms products that there are coupons for. I have not checked yet.

Halfway through scanning all of my coupons, the cashier mumbles "Oh, I forgot, we're only supposed to allow 5 coupons per transaction." I don't know about the snack mixes, but the Archer Farms cereal is on sale this week for $1.95 and $2.54 depending on the box/flavor you choose. With the coupon the boxes would be $.95 and $1.54. I bought 5 boxes last night, the strawberry with yogurt is YUMMY!!

The basic snack mixes are $1.99 (chex like mixes), regular price. They also have trail mix types which are either $2.99 or $3.99 ---not quite sure didn't buy those ones.

No limit on coupons at my store. They really don't even look at the coupons. I just hand them and they scan.

The Organic AF cereal is a little higher, $2.54. Regular was like $1.95, I think. I got some blueberry almond that is pretty good. REAL dried blueberries in it and LOTS of them.

If you use the Expired Eggo Waffles coupon for .75 off plus the manufacturer coupon in this weeks paper, you can get them for about .25 a box.

Tried to use the new Little Debbie coupons on 4 boxes last night. The cashier was new and called over the manager who rudely told me that I copied those and she would only take one of them. I tried to tell her that I printed them off the Target site. She wouldn't listen. I told her I could call customer service to get it straightened out and she said, "Do what you have to do." When they limit one per purchase/transaction, I get back in line and purchase each item w/ the coupon, over and over again. It's a little more work for them and myself, however, the end result remains the same. Good Deals! Just takes more patients, but well worth it.

I got 5 boxes of cereal and 6 bags of snack mix the other day and used 11 coupons and the cashier didn't say anything, the snack mix coupons didn't scan so she had to enter them manually. Seems if they were going to limit coupons they should have done it when people were using them to get 50-100 candy bars free at a time and not when someone was just using a couple.

I actually accidentally used the Archer granola coupon on the Market Pantry granolas and it scanned fine. I got the box for .67. I didn't do it again because I didn't want to take advantage, but the coupons are almost more like store credits or something.

I never print my coupons in color because I don't want to waste color ink. I have never had a problem with a coupon not being in color. I usually also print them on scrap paper so they always have something written on the other side too.

Went to Target today and purchased two Dove 8pk bar soap. I had two $1 coupons (not internet printed, mind you) and the cashier says she can't take both of the coupons. I ask why and she says because they can't be doubled up. What the... She says the coupon says limit one coupon per purchase. I said yeah and I'm purchasing two. She says she can't do it. And then she also didn't take an internet coupon for Cottonelle kids wipe because it wouldn't scan (she was using the hand held scanner which I think has more trouble picking up the printed barcodes. So I tell her to take the wipes off and to take a pack of Dove off and re-ring it. She does or so I think and when I look at my first receipt she had left the two packs of Dove on there. So then she does a return and re-rings the Dove up. Can you tell me exactly what she accomplished? Nothing but waste my time and hers. I still got the two packs of soap and used the two coupons.

This is the first time I've ever had any trouble at Target. I should've stayed in line with the guy I checked out with before. I myself used to work at a grocery as a cashier and bookkeeper and that's the way we accepted coupons - one coupon per item. As long as the coupon wasn't limited to one per person there was no problem. I stopped shopping at Walmart because I thought Target was the better place to shop(not necessarily the cheaper place), but if things stay the same, I'm going back to Walmart.

Does anyone know how to ADD an expired coupon into the generator? I received an e-mail from Target with a good coupon and I'd like to print out a sheet of them. (Plus others can use it too!) It's $1 off bannanas (2 pound minimum). Banannas are around 50 cents a pound around here, so I've routinely been getting 2 pounds+ of bannanas for 15 - 20 cents total cost. I'm just kind of tired of only being able to print 1 coupon at a time.

The regular Targets have been taking them as long as they sell the items that the coupon is for.

Good deals: The Mini ravioli come out to .49 a can after coupons & the Pop-tarts are like .53 after coupons.

Open Word (it may or may not work the same way for other word processing programs), in the coupon generator select the coupon you want, right click and select copy, then go into Word and select paste. Set your page to print landscape and you can print 12 coupons on one page. If I could figure out how to rotate a coupon to fit it in the space at the right side of the page I think I could get at least 2 more to a page.

Oh, I went shopping BEFORE I got these coupons... but I still saved $49 in Target coupons. Yes, I used expired coupons. One store takes each one I use as long as I dont cut the date off. I got 15 of the single serve cereals, 10 packs of Planters peanuts at 18 cents each, 5 bottles of Coke at 49 cents ($1 expired coupon), Hamburger helper, 52 cents (I accidently gave her 4 coupons at $1/2 but only got 4 boxes <I didnt read!!> and she took $1 off each box). I also got 7 boxes of the MLP and Tonka fruit snacks with the 75 cent coupon. My total before was like $127.80 and I ended up paying $77.20 :) Quite happy. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE this Target as its pretty new and not many people go to it. They are also very friendly!

It would be best to call first and get the name of the person if they tell you yes. Each store will vary so it's best to check with your own.

Went to Target last night. Bounty paper towels are on sale for $6.00. I used the $1.50 off coupon in the generator and the $5 off with $20 coupon from Home Made Simple.

$6.00 x 4 Bounty 8 packs = $24.00
$1.50 x 4 coupons = (6.00)
$5.00 off coupon = (5.00)
Total is $13.00 for 4- 8 packs which is almost 41 cents a roll! :D Technically the $5.00 is off other purchases, but still. Awesome deal!

Also the price of orange juice seems to have increased around here, so with the $1.00 off coupon it was only $1.99 each. I haven't seen that kind of price in at least a year so this is a great deal too.

I am in Jackson, MI and we have a Super Walmart. I called before I went in for the first time and they said since they price match their competitors and they accept internet coupons, that they don't have a problem with it. They ring it up just like a price match, and they don't even keep my coupons, so I don't have to keep reprinting them!

I use the $1.00 off Coke 2 liter all the time to get .34 cent pop! We also use the $1.00 off Granola Bars and $1.00 off Poptarts to get really cheap stuff.

I think they are the ones where if you buy a pack of the feel and learns you get a free tub of Kandoo wipes. I wish I would of saved those coupons for myself. My own kids are grown, So I didn't bother cutting them out. But I have a daycare where I watch a set of twins trying to be potty trained and they always come in diapers. For that price, I would buy them myself for them to use. It would be so much easier.

Same question here. I kinda like to follow the rules and if it says expired then I don't feel comfortable using it, but if Target overall accepts them anyway, then I might venture into it cause so many of you get great deals w/the expired ones.

I've never had problems using the expired coupons. Just try it with one or two items to feel it out. If it goes okay, you know to use them next time. If they notice, just say "oops! I'm so sorry." no big deal.

My mom just had the hardest time using the Pepsi coupon. They first didn't want to let her use more than one. Then they were going to use the fact that it says "web coupon" as an excuse. I didn't register. I am a Target red card Visa holder, so I don't know if that makes a difference or not. I heard from other posts that they were trialing this paperless form of coupons. It's just a card that has a bunch of products you can get anywhere from 75cents to $3 off per product on a one time deal. Each time you use it, they give you the card back I suppose... unless you buy all the products listed and use all the savings at one time. (I haven't used it yet, so I don't quite know). It says it can't be combined with other Target coupons though, but I'm assuming that it still can be combined with manufacturers coupons. I had hoped someone out here on the forum had some experience with using one.

Maybe it's just me, but I bought a bunch of Heinz ketchup when it was on sale with the coupon. I looked at the coupon again...and realized it's for a Heinz "condiment" not just ketchup :D So I can stock up on other stuff too!

My store is STILL taking expired coupons. They are taking the $5 off $20 and they are also taking the $8 salsa coupons. I have been through at least 6 different cashies and all had no problem, and yes, they look at the screen after scanning EACH coupon. As for the $5 off $20, one cashier was giving me a hard time using one for each $20... she called a supervisor over and the supervisor told her to scan one for each "$20".. that the computer will beep if there is a problem (Um, I dont think so??!?!?!). Tonight my grocery bill was $354 and I ended up paying $99.40 after. I only used 2 of the $8 salsa coupons but again I was told I could use one $5 for each $20. So however many of those. I also had 9 of the Gilette razors clearanced for $4.48 with the $4 MFR coupon. The rest of my coupons were LEGIT. LOTS of 12pk of Pepsi sodas. Everything I bought I had a coupon for except for cat litter, a cat litter dish and a tote! Now, I am not sure how long this Target will allow expired coupons as they have only been open about 3 months..

It's technically not legit, it is a mistake... but if your Target will accept expired coupons and not notice that $8 comes off the total after they scan it, it'll work.

It's technically not legit, it is a mistake... but if your Target will accept expired coupons and not notice that $8 comes off the total after they scan it, it'll work.

i tried it at my target and it rang up a dollar so i was stuck paying to much for icky salsa

So does the coupon just depend on the store that you take it at? Or is there a different coupon altogether? Also, I looked at my Target and all they had was the regular salsa, not organtic, will it work on that as well? Thanks. (this is my first post:)

Could someone school me on the wording thats put on coupons. Everytime I try to explain it I look like a fool.

First one means that a coupon will only take off the amount off one item (as opposed to Walgreens coupons, when you use their store coupons for .25 off a pack of gum and buy 5 of them it will take off .25 off all 5 packs of gum). Thank you I always try to explain how to use the manuf coupon with a store coupon but get tounge tied. I lose it when the manuf coupon says "one item or sale per coupon." I know it means you can use only one coupon for the item you are buying,but if you have a store coupon you can use it along with that coupon on the item. Some don't know what it means and say that you can only use one coupon on that item and not the store coupon along with it. (I understand it depends on the store) I just wanted to make sure to get my facts were straight before I go running store to store like a manic.
I alittle new to using coupons so I'm trying to now th langauge and get the most for my $.

I tried to use mine yesterday. They rang up $8 but she switched them to $1. I had them on top because I was in a hurry. Next time I will have to mix them in and try again.

I used it yesterday and mine scanned $8, she saw it, looked at the coupon and added the coupon to my already scanned pile and left it at $8!

I guess a misprinted $8 coupon isn't the biggest of Target's concerns, but I wonder why (overall) the cashiers haven't been made aware of the mistake? I'm not too proud to try the coupon myself, but wouldn't you think that a business would want to make their employees aware of such a slip-up?

Only 2 cashiers have noticed it on my end. One said while she was ringing "Did you see that, this coupon is taking $8 off. Well I didnt see it" and then winked at me. The second one was on Saturday and a front end supervisor was right next to her with change (she needed $5s) and she saw it, did a double take on the screen (not sure the CSM saw it or not) and that was it. Let it go.

Well, I'm trying it. We'll see how it goes.

Cashier checked expiration dates on coupons today. She said she wasn't supposed to take any expired coupons. I told her they took them yesterday and said if they scan, we take them. She said that wasn't the way she was trained but if they scan and aren't too old, she will take them. Luckily she just looked at the month and not the year because all of mine were outdated. I even got to stack the $1 pepsi and 50 cent mt. dew coupons and only bought diet pepsi and sierra mist, no mt. dew.

Once you click on the coupon, you have to type in how many you want to print, and then click OK. Hope this helps.

:D I used the $1 off Oscar Mayer coupon on some Lunchables that were on clearance for $1.02. I got 9 for $.02 each. :D They are the cheeseburger ones. They aren't very good but there is a mini candy bar and a capri-sun in it . That alone is worth the 2 pennies:yup:

I went to Target last night for apple juice. For the motts they charge $1.44 a bottle. With the coupons on the current coupons generator i got them for only 44 cents a bottle. They only had 5 so i grabbed them all. My kids go through so much juice that this is a real bargain for me. I will try to get more everytime i go back.

There are Oscar Mayer hot dogs for $1.27, using the $1 off any Oscar Mayer Target coupon makes them .27 cents a piece. I stocked up and put them in my freezer.

they get rubbery and stale if they go past the exp. date i wouldnt give them to my kids :gd_stars:

2.39 x 9 = $21.51
$21.51 (less $1 off each tub) - $9 (less the $5 off $20 coupon) - $5 = $7.51
