View Full Version : Nike Product Testers
limabean718 9-26-2006, 8:53 PM I know this site was listed back in July and I signed my 15 year old daughter up. We got an email today that she met the initial screening criteria, and they sent us an Agreement, Release, and Waiver form that we need to sign and mail in (not email or fax) within the next 10 days to participate. Hopefully, that means she'll be getting something to test soon! Our fingers are crossed!
Anyway, if you want to sign up, here is the link again:

kmbrly 9-26-2006, 10:10 PM Good luck. But I'm sorry to say, don't hold your breath. Quite a few members were accepted quite a few months ago (myself included), go the agreement, and haven't heard from Nike since. I sent my agreement on Feb 13th, and haven't heard from them.
Good luck though, I hope someone finally gets something from them. :)
I sent my agreement a few months back...nothing as well :(
jarerice 9-26-2006, 11:39 PM I got an email back saying that i was turned down and that i could reapply in 6 months.

Cinnamonhuskies 9-27-2006, 9:36 AM I sent my agreement a few months back...nothing as well :(
yep. :yup: :(
My daughter signed up..was accepted and recieved a pair of running shoes. She has to return them in 3 noths and do a weekly diary
I am signed up too but never received anything. :(
bluesrule9 9-29-2006, 12:20 PM Nada. Doesn't look good for you (or any of us).
abailey10 10-7-2006, 8:29 AM I signed up for this in May, and have already tested 2 pairs of shoes! You have to keep a daily log, and fill out a mid-session survey, and one at the end. It's kinda time consuming, but to wear a free pair of shoes for 2 months, it's worth it!
limabean718 10-7-2006, 9:08 AM That's great to hear! They actually sent two different waivers for my daughter and I to sign. We sent both back and they replied that everything was in place. They said it may be a couple weeks before we hear from them again, but not to dispair. They said she was selected based on her shoe size and sports activities...she's 15, plays volleyball, and is in an 11.5 - 12 women's shoe!! I'm guessing they don't see too many of those! LOL
jacquero 10-13-2006, 10:10 AM I received an e-mail yesterday stating that I was going to be sent a pair of running shoes to test!
dajulkrin 11-10-2006, 9:29 AM I recieved a email today, they have picked my 4 yr old. sent the forms through email for me to print off sign and fax back. hope it all goes well. Has anyone else heard anything lately??
baseball mama 11-10-2006, 9:43 AM I signed up one of my kids, but when I tried to sign up the other ones, it wouldn't let me. It said my email was already in thier database.
Can you sign up more than one kid?
mommyfink 11-10-2006, 10:32 AM After I signed up my daughter, it said that you can add family members once you get an email accepting you. In that email they will give you an id number and using that you can add family members.
jacquero 11-22-2006, 1:26 PM I received two pair of Nike Pegasus running shoes on Monday. The shoes came in two separate boxes that were taped and mailed together. The only paperwork inside each box was just a yellow return postage-paid card but no other instructions. I'm guessing that I'm going to return them at some point but don't know when. I checked my e-mail for instructions but nada. I've already put 10 running miles on them so far.
Panda Girl 11-22-2006, 5:16 PM I received two pair of Nike Pegasus running shoes on Monday. ......... I've already put 10 running miles on them so far.
So these were for you??!! Lucky
four_riderz 2-13-2007, 11:05 AM Does anybody have a copy of the agreement/waiver? They sent us the email stating that my son needs to send it in, but did not include the waiver/agreement. Also, we have been assigned an id #, but have not been given a password, and the website is not accepting our id#/email address combo (so that our password can be emailed to us). Did I miss something???

the waiver comes as an attachment, check again, you cant use anyone else's because it has your name and address on it. if you dont see it in the email you should email them and ask them because you only have 10 days from the day you get the email to replay. we are on our 9th pair for my 2 year old DD!!! it sure has saved me ALOT of money. good luck!
four_riderz 2-13-2007, 11:57 PM Thanks for the tip--I did email nike, since the agreement wasn't attached to the original email, and they sent me one. We'll get it faxed first thing in the am. Wish us luck! :crossfing
You have to give the shoes back. :(
kodis97 2-14-2007, 10:31 PM yes, you have to give them back, but you get to keep them for 3 months at a time, so that really saves us alot on her shoes. its really fun and i enjoy it!

Yeah, that's true. I am still new to dressing kids. Three months is about how long it takes for them to grow out of them!

that's why this would be great for my kids! They are either outgrown or outlived within 3 months.

You should log into your account and update his shoe size. They sent me an email earlier this month asking me to update my daughter's shoe size: here's how to do it:
To update your child’s current shoe size please go to the Product Testing website, and login with your child’s Tester ID # and Password. If you can't remember your Password, click on "I Forgot My Password" and a new temporary Password will be emailed to you. Using the box labeled "Additional Information" please enter the date your child's shoe size was updated as follows: Size Updated by Parent day / date/ year.
**Product testing opportunities are limited to specific sizes and quantity. To increase the possibility your child will be invited to participate in a test, please keep your child’s tester profile up to date with current shoe size and contact information.
To confirm your child’s current shoe size please visit a local footwear retail store to have your child’s feet professionally measured at your earliest convenience.
Thank you for your continued support of Nike Kids Product Testing.
lnd1st 6-20-2007, 11:56 AM This is the invitation for her right shoe size. We did the waiver long ago. I updated her shoe size this month and then I got the email to confirm my address. Thats why I wanted to know how long do they take to get back to you.
Thanks.
jacquero 6-21-2007, 2:31 PM My invite came pretty quickly, if I remember right, within about 4 - 6 weeks.
tiredmom214 10-27-2007, 2:13 AM I just got an email that m daughter was accepted. I sent in the wavier, so hopefully we hear more back soon. :)

Oh well, that remingds me need to update my log for the week. It's not bad, just have to remember to do the logs...
