If a store is running a BOGO offer and you have a coupon for bogo. Does that mean if you buy one you get two free? Sorry to soind like an idiot but I am a coupon novice..;)

some stores will count the 1st one and the 2nd free one from the sale as a qulaifier for the coupon. It mostly depends if the coupon will read automatically. I think most people say CVS drug store is good about letting you have both for free but since i dont use cvs not a personal experience thing. Like most coupons things the policy seems to change not only from chain to chain but store to store and even cashier to cashier

At meijer this week Hillshire farm was on sale BOGO and I use a BOGO coupon (2 of them for 4 products) and got them all free. I don't know if it was just my cashier or not but I have also done this before at Meijer with no problems.

You may as well grab 4 of them & pay for 1:
Pay for one & store gives you one free & use coupon for one & store gives second one free = 4 for the price of 1

Last week I had 4 of the Hillshire Farms BOGO coupons and I used them at Meijer to get 8 for free. My sis tried the same deal at her Meiher across town and it was a no go, even with the coupon friendly cashier. She had to buy 1 and got 4 free.

I usually end up getting them both free, and with no problem, at Publix and Winndixie.

Speaking of Meijer, make sure you watch closely as they're ringing up your stuff. Too many times I've seen the sale price ring up wrong....in the store's favor.

At our Giant Eagle you get both free. I think it may be because when they ring up each comes up at half price, so it basically shows you bought 2 and lets you use the coupon. For example if something is $5.00 and it's BOGO each will ring up at $2.50. I love BOGO coupons! When they first came out with those M&M candy bars I got quite a few ;) Love M&M's!

Have had quite a bit of luck at Walgreens with this when they have a BOGO with their 7-day coupons. I just give them the manufacturer's one first and the 7-day coupon at the end. Never any problems :)
