I love Kohl's on Black Friday they usually have some good sales especially Fisher Price and Little Tyke toys(usually 50%) for the little ones. I also save my MVC extra 15% coupon to use that day which makes the already good buys even better. I can remember for my DD first christmas(2001) a stock boy came out with an empty stock basket so I could put everything in it. Since we still have little ones in the family I look forward to the toy sale.

Haven't tried Kohl's before on BF, but now there is one just a couple of miles away, problem is, opposite side of town from Best Buy, Staples, Office Depot, etc, etc.

Last year I went for GameCube games. I ended up not getting ones that were on sale and I had to go to Customer service. Long story short, I was way too nice about the whole thing :mad: (I was trying to get to Target before they sold out). I will watch the ad more carefully this year. :eyepoppin

Kolh's was a mad house last year, but I got some really good buys, I hope our local store gets it act together this year, the lines were HORRIBLE last year. I think generally their stuff is over priced so they are able to give "Big" discount deals that make it look better then they really are... their luggage was a very good deal at 70% off last year though.. :cool:

That is my experience too. I love their clearance but even on sale I find most of there stuff is overpriced. Would take a really good BF sale to get me there.

I am so glad I listened to my mil when she said to get a credit card to Kohl's. The sales are good and then you get even more off most times.

I can honestly say I've never stopped by Kohls on BF. My kids are too old for Little Tykes items and Fisher Price (those are the things they seem to advertise in toys for BF) and neither kid ever needs clothes. No matter how cheap. My 6 year old daughter alone has 2 full closests. My son has a full closet, dresser, and under the bed storage full.

Last year for every $50 spent I believe, they gave you $10 to spend the next week! I think I did about 85% of my shopping at Kohls.

I love the Kohl's near my house on Black Friday! I usually go there after Walmart and find good deals on clothing, outerwear, toys and jewelry. The lines last year were all the way to the back of the store, but they were moving like crazy! And they wound up extending the Early Bird specials by quite a few hours.

Where I live (massachusetts) we have this place called shoppers world and there's a TRU, Old navy, Barnes & Noble, Office max, Best buy, TJmaxx, Marshall, Dsw, Babies R us, bob's, AC Moore All sharing the same lot. The Kohls, Wlamart and target are likely not it the same lot but there right accross the street. It will be my first time going there for BF. Oh hey and the Mall is also right there. I can't wait. I only wish that I had someone to got with.

I love Kohls on BF. I have done very well there the past couple of years. I have never tried ordering on line for BF from them but that may be an option I use this year it will depend on the ads. My Kohls is kind of by itself with the Christmas Tree shop although there is a LL Bean outlet there too which is pretty good to hit also on BF but then I need to run back about five - six miles to hit Target. I also go to my local scrapbook store for her early birds as she only has two sales a day and you can never have enough scrapbook stuff.

I think we are going to have the same problem this year. We have a new shopping center that includes Sears, Kohl's, Toys R Us, and Circuit City. I can just see the traffic now!

But you know what I do love? I love driving to BF, because the roads are so empty and it is so peacful. Then you pull into the shopping center and WOW it is so full of life!

Anyways, our Kohl's is new, and while they have had some great opening sales, there regular prices are expensive so I hope they have some good BF deals.

The Kohl's near me opened up last October so last year I went their the 1st time on Black Friday. I did get some toys and some cute Christmas decorations all at 40-50% off.

Kohl's is CRAZY on Bf here! We NEVER go there very early. We usually hit Walmart, Meijer and BB first-in teams- then get coffee and a quick bite, then moveon to Kohl's. Every year Kohl's has lines that wind all the way around to the back of the store.We have waited 2 hours to check out on BF. There are never enough carts either. We saw a woman a couple of years ago unload all of this other woman's stuff out of one onto the floor and took off with it. Talk about a fight! They had to pull these women apart and made them both leave the store. At least we had entertainment while we were waiting in line..lol. They do have some good deals though, especially on jewlery.

OMG!!! I would love to find some Geo Track stuff at 50% off this year. I bought a smaller starter piece for my great Nephew but would love to add more pieces to my gift stash I keep especially if I get my 15% off coupon on top of it.

Kohl's toy sets are always a little different than you will find anywhere else. They will have extra pieces and more parts to sets. I know that I bought the FP Castle set and it had extra characters and extra castle parts that you had to pay separate for at other stores like Walmart, etc. When you take into account the extra goodies with the 50% off, you wind up getting a pretty good deal.

I had never heard of Kohl's, but once our neighborhood store opened, my life has never been the same. If you work your coupons and watch clearance, you can get some fantastic deals.
As for BF, they have great deals on jewelry, toys, seasonal items (candles, etc) and small kitchen appliances. The past few years they have had the Kitchen Aid mixer as an Early Bird. I did BF there 2 years ago for a portable DVD player. It was crazy and fun.

GL! I love Kohls, esp online. I got my Dyson for 30% off the sale price earlier this year using online coupons.

I worked at Kohl's one year for the Holiday season, needless to say everything I made they got right back - but I got some great deals on clothes for the family! As for the mess, let's say there's no hope. I worked in the men's dept. and we were there until 2.5 hrs after close and still couldn't get it looking good, they finally would just tell us to do the sides facing the isle and do the best you can on the rest. It was NEVER clean until a month after Christmas!! :yuck:

Love Kohls! Great clothes for juniors! Our solution to the long lines on BF - my mother, daugher and I go every year and my dad goes along to drive, carry pkgs! We always let him get in line and we go shop and just keep bringing things back to him! He visits with the others in line and is happy not to have to walk around with us! If he gets too close, he lets others get in line in front of him! Needless to say, I have a very understanding and patient dad!

I wish I had someone who would do that for me.

On friday you can buy it or get a price adjustment at customer service without shopping with all the crazies out. Thats what all the employees do; it is the easiest and best way

The Cpk dolls are selling very quickly i would reccomend buying them on wed then getting the price adjustment on fri because they will be gone. you can get a price adjustment up to 10 days after you purchase the items. just bring the receipt you dont need the merchandise.

Hey I just checked it out . the original prices on the cabbage patch dolls range from 24.99 - 29.99, so 55% of that . Kohl's, i think is going to be the cheapest all the other stores like toys r us and walmart are like around 19.99

Kohl's and Target are my all time favorite stops on BF. I have noticed that the Kohl's shopping hours are extended this week on a 7am-midnight basis(Wed,Fri,Sat). On Wednesdays Kohl's has a great mid-week ad and once a month cater to the senior citizens.

I called again and talked to "Susan" and she said I can go on Wednesday, buy everything, return it Friday and rebuy it. I am going to go in on Wednesday and buy it all and first try the price adjustment. (Our Kohl's just opened in October so maybe they don't have a clue.) We do not hold items for more than one day (and some stores only hold to the end of the business day). Doublecheck for your store's policy.

If you buy on Wednesday and return on Friday, you will have to get in line at the normal cash registers after returning - to keep things fair, they will not ring up sales at all at customer service (it's for returns and even exchanges only).

My store holds for three days. but i do like the idea of buying on weds then doing a price adjustment or returning then rebuying for the ten dollar coupon.

It says it's selling for 59.99 as an early bird special, but do you know if its the bundle, with the guitar and the strap and the game or just the game? My sister desperately wants the first GH for Christmas and this is the cheapest I have seen it. In the ad it shows the game and the guitar but i just want to make sure its actually a bundle and not just the game because i would hate to drive out there and be bummed out about that. Thank you!!
