What kind of stuff does BL have for doorbusters/blitzes on BF? I've been during a regular sale, to get specific items, and I buy some Xmas decorations and things there, but never been on BF.

From What I Can Remember Last Year......when We Went In I Cant Remember Anything Good Off The Top Of My Head, Not To Say You Wont Find Anything ...best Thing To Do Is Just Look At The Papers Before Hand And Go From There ....wishing You Very Good Luck!!!! Sorry I Couldnt Be Any Help!!

Big Lots usually has some of last years popular toys. They usually have grandfather clocks or a curio cabinet and sometimes they have recliners at a good price. Electronics you want to be wary of though they are always rebuilt or as they call it remanufactured and are not always they best!

Big Lots now has the "buzz club" where you are suppose to get advance notice of sales and stuff

I was browsing BL site earlier and signed up for the "buzz club". I like BL too, they usually have some great things.

I joined the buzz club and got an email the next day about the new sales ad that just came out. Gotta Love Big Lots and like the ad states "wow" :D

Last year I remember getting a particular game for my sis that was a really good price...can't remember the name of the game now though. The only thing I don't like is that they don't always seem to have the stuff that is in the ads or there are very limited quanities available

Your right there are very limited quanities, sometimes youe were lucky if you got a quater of a pallet of any one thing. Big items like furniture you are lucky if there are ten of those items.

it seems like i got a couple of sweaters there last year for $5? pretty nice ones...and maybe jeans...very limited sizes though

Last year, they had MP3 players, dvd players, and stereos that were new, and extremely inexpensive. This varied by store, of course.:)

I was wondering when we might see their ad... plus does anyone know what time they open for BF

i use to work there as a manager for over 5 years and we always had the ad by now. i have called a few of my old co-workers but they haven't seen one. the managers i worked with are no longer there so this is just hourly associate that are there. if i get it i will pass it .

The one I always go has had $20 Fossil watches. They were new in the cute little tins. They usually run $70-100+ at The Buckle. Styles do vary though and they usually only have 5-10. Good thing is that they didn't advertise it around here the last couple of years so while everyone else busted the door down for $1.99 Barbies we got to the watches.

The Big Lots here is usually opened on Thanksgiving Day. I didn't get to go last year, but I think I will this year if they are opened. :eyepoppin I think I will be in need of a BF fix by then.

I talked to an assistant manager yesterday at Big Lots. She told me they haven't even seen the Ad yet. She was getting worried about it. That is probably why it has been leaked yet.

Etoys.com gets a lot of stuff from BL, so don't think they only sell crap. I bought a toy for my son on etoys, paid an extra 30.00 for shipping and went to BL the next day and saw it for same price of etoys minus shipping

I went to their turkey day sale last year and got an excellent deal on an electric blanket and got some great brand name toys for my son. I hope the ad is leaked soon.

i talk to to some of the people i use to work with and they don't have the ad yet. i wish i could get it. i will keep trying

I received this in my email. Evidently the Big Lots in central Mass. will be closed on Thanksgiving.

I spoke to a warehouse manager yesterday. She told me that the reason Big Lots's ad leaked late was that they were not happy with last year's BF sale and attribute it to people seeing the ad early.

Also, I found out that any Big Lots that are in a shopping center with a Raymore & Flanagan furniture store is not allowed to have furniture on the floor. That does NOT mean they do not have any. The woman told me to ask an associate for a recliner and if they have one, they will usually sell it to you - but ask you to pick it up by the loading dock rather than off the floor. :fluffy:

YOu can see the ads online for Friday only and Saturday only deals.
