Any ideas on the TV's? Is the Philips currently in stock?

I liked the 42 inch Vizio LCD that was there yesterday, but I thought it was too new to be on sale. Looks like I was right after all...

These are on sale all week, not just Black Friday, correct?

It says on the ad coupon price. Is that the amount the coupon will get you off of the price of the item?

Yes.. just like using any other coupon. The take that amount off when they ring it up.
So if its $1799 with a $399 coupon, you get 300 off that 1799.
Ending amount $1499 + tax

From what I hear, Costco is the place to go if you want a break from BF shopping.
I will be in the Bridgewater, NJ area; does this sound true, or should i bring riot gear like BB?

The sale is for Nov 24/25/26 Just a Thanksgiving Wknd Sale .....

There is also a sale ONLINE from Nov 20-Nov 27 with different merchandise..

I went to Costco last year on bf and it was absolutely empty. There is absolutely no reason to rush there as there are no early bird sales, and the items that have coupons are not worth going there at all.
I hope you are right... I will be doing the BF/Staples gig, and will not be wanting to stand in line at Costco (unless the deals are amazing). They look good, but hopefully they are dead as you say.

I would also point out that Costco doesn't open at 5am, so there's no rush to get there. Didn't they have DVD "seasons" last year with one of those coupons?

Coupons will be floating all over the warehouse..LOL....You won't have a problem getting ahold of one. We just started handing then out today along with a Costco Holiday Catolog that shows some of the stuff that we have in the store.

We dont open early on fri...if its anything like last year with the xbox 360"s, once the line starts to form a mgr will go out and hand out tickets/numbers for the amount of units that we will have. Last year when I got to work ( at 4 am ) we already had 2 rv's parked by the front door, Im expecting the same or worse for the ps3's !!!! We dont have any "deals " this week, on tv's just the ones that I posted earlier that will have coupons the wknd of thanksgiving...

PS- If you know exacly what you want at Costco, I can always look it up on the computer and tell you just how many that the Coscto near you has ..If that helps

You would actually have to return the entire product with everything recieved at time of purchase, and then turn around and buy the t.v again with the coupon deal. Sorry but thats the only option that you would have !
Although some warehouse mgrs might sway a bit, thats hard to say. Next time your in the store, you should get the coupon flyer- at that time ask to speak to a mgr. I would simply ask how they handle an item bought recently that is now in the coupon flyer, see what they say.

guess you are right.... it isn't that bad of a tv compared to the no names that others are offering for sub $1000. At least i have heard of vizio.

BTW - Go to Costco when you get hungry - they always have great samples!! Fill up with the samples as appetizers, then get a hotdog and a bottomless soda for 1.50 - can't beat that price!!
Yeah, I went there last weekend, and i thought I was going to get trampled with all of the people there who were getting the samples. I think some people go there to eat lunch for free.

I really have no idea whats going on with the wii's and costco, seems the mgr's don't either. I checked our puter system a few times and the wii's in there with an item # and quanity,but not yet in transit from the depot to the warehouse. When I came home from work today I checked the website- didnt see the wii, an hour later I checked and it said sold out...:gdcensored: :gdcensored:

Yep..:yup: People we're returning the computers just to upgrade since new ones come out every year, I think its still a great return policy since not to many other retailers will do the same.Coscto is all about making the Customer HAPPY !!! :D

The only real complaint I have about Costco is that their website does not list the warehouse stocked models, so its impossible to compare various models from b&m to online without geting in my car and driving an 1 1/2 hrs RT (drive time only!) to take notes. Can you help? Wilmington, NC costco.

Costco opens at 9 am, so you can hit other stores first or sleep in. That deal on the Vizio for $999 is awsome, but if you check out BestBuy's ad, they have a comparible deal on a Panasonic. The Vizio coupon is the only one valid on Friday only, the others are for the whole weekend. I am afraid they will sell out quick.

I was going to get the Vizio, but I think the Panasonic at BB is a better TV so I try to do that instead, unfortunitly I'll have to camp out overnight to get it. If that doesn't work I may just end up getting the Vizio at Costco.

Only thing that you will get free at the door is the COOKING COSTCO WAY COOKBOOK - this is the same book that they have given away the past few years on Black Friday. I saw a pallet of them at my local costco this A.M.

I sent hubby today to costco to take notes for me on the tvs on the floor :) Thanks for the input tho yesterday. I had him stop on the way home from work and got the couon flier too.

I was going to get the Vizio, but I think the Panasonic at BB is a better TV so I try to do that instead, unfortunitly I'll have to camp out overnight to get it. If that doesn't work I may just end up getting the Vizio at Costco.

Just remember that although BB might have a t.v comparible to Coscto...Costco's return policy ( should you have a problem ) is beyond any other stores !!!!

I am new to this website, hope this is the correct place for my question/comment. I went on Costco's website as it opened, the day they had the PlayStation 3 bundles. I clicked on the order button, and the item was added to my cart. Since I order at Costco, online, regularly, all of my information was already in my account, and I attempted to proceed to the check out. Due to the high number of people on the site, ( I am guessing) the check out option would not go thru. It took over two hours before I was able to reach the check out, and I then got a message 'We're sorry, but ther are no items available for this item and your quantity has been adjusted" I am curious if "shopping carts" online, are very reliable? I have never experienced a "weve taken your purchase back" message. ( I printed the screens for each of these.....parts of the transaction. Any suggestions on how to avoid this? Thanks, Diane
